Here is an interesting question: to those from outside the United States:

You are all people. :)

I judge people on actions, not media footage.

I'd have to shake your hand and meet more Americans to judge.

Yeah, Florida is great!

What??

Disneyworld is shit "dawg!"
I agree.
Naw, I'm kidding. But I never go, obviously.
On the grounds that I did, I'm going to have to state that I laughed out loud when I re-read my comment...

I mean't to say disneyworld is the shit.

I actually got to see a lot of Florida when I drove from N Carolina down to Miami. Florida is pretty crap outside Orlando, Daytona and Miami... Just swamps and gators...and reapers.
Oh, I know what you meant. But I had to change your comment to suit my most evil needs.
I live near Orlando, actually. Not in, but somewhat near.
Damn you Max!

Messin' with my head like that... You wicked, wicked...creature!
I am, by all accounts, a silvery-tongued rascal.
(ps those accounts include that of your girlfriend, ha ha ha /wit)
Hmm, funny you should say that, my girlfriend's *whistles* tasted a bit metallic the oth-

WAIT A MINUTE!

*purchases flight to florida*
Well if this is how you found out, I guess the handcuffs didn't leave a mark.
Nor did the giraffe...
No I noticed the handcuff marks, she likes to chain herself to the bed occasionally.

The giraffe? Well...c'mon... How could I miss it?

I will return it to it's rightful owner...Where did you find him?

Still hungry, I sulk off.

Urrgh... a disturbingly embarrassing number of people up here in Canada couldn't figure out on voting day why we couldn't vote for Obama.

I hate it when countries force values, ideas, and politics into other countries.

I'd say America falls under the mob principle.

I don't have anything against Americans, individually, but the country as a whole I both fear, pity and really, really dislike.

I could go into a long, long rant about exactly why, and exactly every little thing about America that annoys me, or I could go ranting about the people in America I like, but I don't know what purpose it would serve.

I despise the country and its politics but not the people, as I've found it best to judge people on their own merits, but America as a separate entity is something I can hate.

Just thought of something. I think I've found why the USA hated the film Borat so much. It was nothing to do with the fact that he basically took the piss out of the country (let's face it, other people do much worse and you don't get up in arms about it, hell, even American comedians take the piss out of your country, and they live there...). No, it was simply because of the reactions of so many. Like the anti-Semitic and racist views that the Texans showed in the scene with the rodeo, or in New York where so many people started swearing at 'Borat' when he spoke to them, and basically acted really unfriendly. Admittedly I didn't get those same impressions when I met people in Florida, but the fact is that the reactions in Borat were real reactions from real people and it cast you Americans in an unfavourable light. Those reactions can't be denied, and you simply hate that anyone should show, at least some, Americans for what they truly are.

Whilst it is probably wrong of me to generalise, I'm mostly of the opinion that 90% or more of all Americans are dumb as dogshit.

This video shows why: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJuNgBkloFE

People hould hate the american stereotype. Not America as a country.

I think that the US should care more about what happends inside their borders and less what happends in Iraq.

The attitude I find here in England seems to be quite negative towards the USA. I don't know why for the older members of my country but I have a theory for most of my school peers. I blame Xbox LIVE. I kid you not.

When the 360 came around loads of my friends got it, along with LIVE. And I've lost count of the amount of times I have been playing online and had an American mock the way me and my friend's are talking to one another or something else similar. And anyone who played Call of Duty 4 online will know what ensued in the lobbys of that bloody game. But I always remind myself that these are an incredibly small percentage of the country. I'm not going to lie, my impression of Americans sits just below indifferent, but that's because I absent mindedly cling to my opinions, rarely thinking to reconsider them. I'm aware how ignorant I sound but at least I'm honest.
