Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Rare was the reason to own an N64 (and some Nintendo games). It's quite sad to see the shell of their former glory at Microsoft. I remember all the nights I'd spent playing Conker's multiplayer with my cousins, seriously, between this and Perfect Dark, we didn't needed your stinkin' Xboxes and your stinkin' Halos.

And yes, I remember in a mexican videogames show (Club Nintendo) they showed some footage of Twelve Tales: Conker 64 (Bad Fur Day sounds a lot better IMO) and I remember thinking "meh, looks like a bad copy of Banjo-Kazooie", boy I'm glad I was wrong and they changed the direction of the game drastically.

I miss you Rare :'(

Notice how the song in the gladiator arena seems very similar to this.


I think it's more than coincidence, I think the song was remixed, and reused in Jet Force.

Yeesh, couldnt make it past two minutes... Otherwise yeah, this didnt look that good. Loved Bad Fur Day, they really doged a bullet there in my opinion.
Though who knows, they could have pulled a bait and switch and would of became awesome later, being a Rareware game and all.

Sorry but even when it came out conker was not that great of a game. If it was not for all the M rated stuff it would have been just another mediocre platformer.

So? The mature stuff is part of the game. It's hardly fair to strip out any theming, aesthetic, story or flavour and judge it entirely on mechanics despite the fact that the other things are still there.
