Herobine: True or False?

For those of you who don't know, there is this massive indie game going around called Minecraft, and it is apparently haunted by Notch's dead brother 'Herobine' or 'Him' for a very vague term.

Now, I've never seen Herobine in any of my 3 worlds, but share storys, photo's, video's and opinions.

Although there were rumors a while ago that some copies on torrent sites included a mod that put him in the game, showing up randomly to scare the piss out of some pirates.

Fake, but the server I play on has a mod which adds him. If he kills you it says " was strangled by the ghost of Herobrine" in the chat.

(some) People on the Minecraft Forums are always like. "OMGZ, I JES SAW HEROBRINE!!!!11 LEGIT!"
Then other people call out that they're trolling, when it's really obvious.

I suspect that one of these days Notch is going to add Herobrine in a patch without mentioning it just to really screw with us.
