Halo 3 was fairly awful. I mean, at least number 2 had a decent boss.

Now...for epic bosses, you can't go past Bayonetta.

PS: this new captcha is awesome. Words I can ACTUALLY READ!
Halo 3 had a boss? The Halo games never really had "bosses", just final challanges.

Demon's Souls. Seriously, False King Allant was mind numbingly easy.
Considering how often that game hands you your posterior on a platter yeah he was that easy.

Final Bosses in Metroid Other M, god I hated that game. Even the optional final boss was a pansy. They weren't hard to kill just jippy.

Borderlands, borderlands. Oh my god, borderlands.
This. I tore that plate of calamari a new one.
I would also Like to say Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. I found The Boss easy, I mean all I really did was Melee her and I whooped her ass.

Xenosaga II. The last boss is so lame it might actually loop around to being awesome. He takes the first turn, no matter what, and uses it to cast a spell on you that resurrects you if you die (basically auto-life). He doesn't have any attacks after that. Instead, he has about 30 different insults and he shouts one at you every turn while you attack him. When he dies, brutally mangled cyborg little girl angels in fetishy nurse costumes lift him into the air while he poses like Jesus on the cross and he implodes space to kill himself.

Yes, really.

He actually shows up again in the third game because it turns out he was so immortal not even that could kill him.

Wait, FALSE King Allant? Are you sure you don't mean the real King Allant who is the actual last enemy in the game? I ask because while one of them is easy, the other is significantly harder and a pretty epic boss fight.

I've all but given up trying to fight the Archdemon in Dragon Age Origins. It angers me trying to get on the Ballistae and call up some of the army folk that are SUPPOSED to help me -_-

Yeah... I can't beat him on Normal difficulty when he calls up the damned horde of Darkspawn.

Bloody ninjas! I do however think this one needs reiterating. Two hits and the world was saved. Two hits. Urgh.
You were just overpowered kinda like the kefka fight.
List of easiest bosses ever.
You should know what the last one is though.

He was a scripted boss for the story more than anything.

Metal Gear Solid.

Hey, you want some boss fights? Okay! Fight a gunslinger! Fight a tank! Fight a helicopter! Fight a mind reader with a goofy secret trick! Fight a gatling gun guy using your mines and nikitas! Fight freaking Metal Gear on foot!

... okay, here comes Liquid. Time for the big showdown. Punch, punch, kick. Run over here. Punch, punch, kick. Don't let him bull-charge you. Punch, punch, kick. Thanks for the memories.
And don't forget the freaking cutscene before that has to take forever.

Assassin's Creed.

The second last boss Robert de Sable I killed in two moves. I pushed him into the ground and used the hidden blade when he was down.

The last boss I didn't find any harder.

Assassin's Creed bosses aren't hard at all.

Oh come now, you basically beat Liquid 4 separate times and still don't manage to kill him, that was just a small part of an otherwise epic sequence. But, uh, yeah that segment was kinda weak in comparison.
Yeah, but there's something to be said for building tension. MGS actually seems to do it backwards, even/especially if you include the chase sequence:
a). fight impossibly powerful Metal Gear
b). fight significantly less powerful Metal Gear
c). fist-fight Liquid
d). car chase

Contrast with the final fight in Ocarina of Time.

a). Ping-pong battle with Gannondorf. Dramatic death sequence
b). Castle is collapsing and you must dodge falling debris and fight baddies while escaping before you are crushed
c). Enormous pig-Gannon bursts from the rubble and you have to fight him without the Master Sword

THAT is how you do final-form battles. Makes me long for the days of Castlevania III and Ninja Gaiden II.

Also, in Castlevania, Symphony of the Night, the final battle with
Dracula is really cheap and easy if you use the sword Chrissaegrim, which, in addition to having a high attack stat, does repeated, rapid slashes as long as you mash the attack button, and can even be used while walking. To be fair though, this makes any boss cheap and easy, due to the ludicrous amount of damage you can dish out in a short amount of time with that sword.

You didn't really need to spoiler his name, everyone knows that the last boss in a Castlevania game is gonna be that dude.

OT: Aside from the obvious Fable 2 I'm gonna say Portal 2. It was still awesome and great fun but it was very easy.

Mass Effect 2
Borderlands (I seriously didn't even move, I just crouched and emptied clip after clip into the thing)

Pretty much every Final Fantasy final boss. Optional bosses that you tackle during the game are always harder.

Demon's Souls. Seriously, this still puzzled me months after completing it. In a game touted as a hardcore challenge, why is the end boss such a pushover? I'm not even sure if he can damage you, he's never lived long enough to get a shot in on me.

Mass Effect 2's final boss was pretty damn easy. Great game as it was, the final boss was a joke. I'm pretty sure that if you just stayed in cover the boss had absolutely no way of killing you. At all. As long as you weren't a complete idiot, the boss literally couldn't kill you. What kind of boss is that!?!

Maybe it was because I was playing on normal, but the ONLY thing I had to do was stay in cover. Even when the collectors came during the boss fight, the boss's big attack would kill them too, so all I had to do was sit behind cover, shoot at a big glowing red spot, then duck back into cover. I like ME2 a whole lot, but that was a big, BIG disappointment.

Plus - giant terminator? Really? Really? That's what they used as their inspiration? I was half expecting it to say "I'll be back" in an austrian accent.
