I was given an assignment in my math class to gather some information and create a scatter-plot graph describing it. the teacher allowed me to chose anything i would want to chose for my topic, and while 80% of the class chose things like gas mileage per car-weight or hight v.s. shoe size. i decided to instead poll the internet for my idea. My idea was to poll the internet for how old are you compared to how many video game you currently own. either hard copies or downloaded, provided that you didnt pirate them.
I tried this once before today with people going to cons, buy my results were inefficient.
Once i get adequate information I'm going to average it and then use it for my results.
Thank all of you who decide to provide information.

May I suggest you do age vs hours spent gaming a week? Seems like a much better idea to me anyway.
Maybe 12 hours?
Wat? that suggestion was to OP not to others... Don't fully understand why you answered.
Sorry, I forgot to unquote you. That was if OP felt it was a better idea, which I think it is.

I've lost track around 1998...

I'm 18, and I've owned well over 100 throughout my lifetime- I've sold most back to GameStop for store credit recently though, so now I've got about 30 or so- use whichever you please.

As for hours played, probably about 20 in the average week, college kinda limits my free time for games
