Yes. I have spoken with him. Several times. He's good. He's a good guy. He might even be a great guy, I have nothing against him

What I do have something against, however is that he's being worshiped like a god. If being kind and talk to people as well as making jokes is enough to be worshiped, then there's something wrong. If we should worship someone, we should worship Nuke, Labby you name it. We should worship someone who's made some significant difference to The Escapist. Lord Krunk as well. Maybe even Indigo_Dingo. Max has not.

I think what you are saying are wrong. If you agree to change the definition of "worship" that is. I think of - on here - worshiping as mentioning Max way too often. To think of him whatever thread you enter. To expect him to burst in and make everyones day brighter. That is worshiping. And if you keep those expectations even though Max doesn't deliver - you're worshiping.
