If you live in the U.S., there's an interesting name calculator [http://howmanyofme.com/] here where you can get an estimate of the number of people who have your name.

Mine is astonishingly common, close to 300 people in the U.S. have the same name I do.

I have only met two people with my first name (even though it's apparently the 76th most common male name), but my last name? Forget it. Put that all together, and according to that link, I am the only one of me. I like that.

[EDIT] For good measure, my brother is the only one of him, while my sister and mother are one or fewer. "Or fewer"?

According to that website, there are less than 335 people with my last name in the United States. Which is suprising in itself, because my name is a shortened version of a longer Greek name. Like calling a person originaly named Stephonson just "Son". So I'm thinking probably a good amount of those people just shortened there name in a similar way, because my Grandfather immigrated as a child from a Greek island, heh. I doubt there's that many of my relatives by name running around the U.S.

A guy with my last name and my first name as his middle name just happens to be the CEO of a big fashion company. I won't say which; identity and stuff.

Not surprisingly, googling poleboy gets you a lot of links to strippers you don't really want to click on.
My real name: Some articles about a football player. Boring. Also, there's a site claiming that the only thing (my name) wants for his birthday is the movie Troy. Lies i say, filthy lies!

Googling my name leads directly to my Lost Zombies account page (because I want credit for whatever I put on there) and my Facebook account. Also some guy who my last and first name (but a J. initial and a Jr. also) died and got a obituary in the New York Times.

Fancy.

Apart from that I see a shit load of Greek websites (in the language no less). Also I'm apparently in a lame San Diego-based rock band with my brother Jason and a couple of other douche bags. Oh sweet! I played the House of Blues!

Hmm... I remember a long time ago I was typing my name into Alta Vista (that's right, LOOOONG time ago!) and this dudes website came up. I was so ashamed of what he was doing for our name, I e-mailed him saying so. I was 12, so I was one of those annoying little brats once...

After Googling it, I have discovered my name is shared by one of you American's baseball players.

Edit: And apparently there is a karate blackbelt somewhere who calls himself the Iron Ninja. I have no idea why, since Karate is not the same thing as Ninjitsu.
Stereotyping, I guess. somehow all who know kung fu of any styles are ninjas(actually in my class, while we mostly earn karate we learn a few good ninjitsu if we're good, but I think this is off topic).

Anyway my name is shared with a certain "singer"(I use the term loosely) whose moniker starts with "Ricky".

I know a bunch of people with my last name, sorta. It's pronounced the same way but spelt differently. I've never bumped into someone with the same exact name as me, though.
