I'm the worst liar in the whole world, I just burst into a fit of giggles when I try to lie.
I'm good at catching out liars though. One blink, a glance to the left, a slight stutter and its kind of obvious.

I can always tell when my bro's lying. He gets a little twinkle in his eyes and has the muscles in his face shift just a wee bit, enough to betray him.

Yeah, I look for flickers of doubt and obvious signs of lying. Looking every other direction than the hand they write with is usually a big sign. Saying Ummmm three times without saying anything else.
Finally, never breaking eye contact. That is the biggest thing. They would be doing that on purpose to make you think they aren't lying.

A college of mine asked me if I was busy with something that needed to be done. I told him I was. About 5 frigi'n minutes later, he asks me the same question again (isn't the first time he did this kind of crap) and I told him that he already asked. Then he said that I din't give him a straight answer on it and kept babbeling on. After a while I said: "No, I am not busy on it."
That stupid pr!ck smirked and thought he had me there and said: "But the first time you said you did!" So my answer was: "Well, you seem to remember my first answer, which makes the 2nd time asking stupid and keeps me from doing my job."
*Edit: Also depends on the question. If they aren't specific and I don't want to answer straight up, it's easy to juggle with it and still "tell the truth" (what in my case could result in a question where time, place and sometimes something to compare with, are needed).

I am known as the guy in school who
A) Can make up nonsensical crap (Wales consists of a large volcano that spouts sheep) and sound genuine about it, even though EVERYONE knows it's just nonsense
B) Knows a crapbunch of trivia, and knows a load in intersting tidbits you've never heard before
By combining the two, I can, more often than not, lead people to believe a lot of silly things that JUST MIGHT sound plausible#

My brother dosen't really lie, but it's obvious when I've hit a nerve, because he stops being sarcastic. E.G.
"You're stupid" "Oh yeah, blatantly"
"You fancy her!" "NO I DON'T!!!"

I find I'm very inconsistent with my lies. I don't have a physical giveaway (that I know of), but I sense a change in my voice tone when I lie sometimes. It's not always present, but when it is, it's a dead sign that I'm messing around with you.
No one's ever picked up on it, or at least they've never pointed it out, and I don't recall ever getting called out on a lie before. Ironically, however, I have had people not believe me when I was being 100% honest. Not sure what that's about, and it's a little frustrating

Well when I lie, I look the person dead in the eye and lie to them. When I tell the truth my eyes tend to wander around. Quite backwards isn't it?
