Even when you ignore the fact that this is make-believe and is not the goal of the game, that kid has her priorities all messed up. I know I've been ninja'd quite a few times on this, but why does she gloss over the fact that the aim of the game is to kill people? Her teacher at least had the presence of mind to tack that thought on last-minute.

Nobody tell her about any other games, OK?

someone should tell these people that there are more worthy ways of spending protest time out there...

like... civil rights, world hunger, world peace... i don't know something more substantial than meere shooting of virtual dogs in a videogame...

these people are stupid, and even more so the guys that let themselves be pushed to support this stupid protest, i need coffee, just woke up, for some reason i want to protest people being stupid, who will sign my petition for using extreme prejudice when dealing with stupid protesters making dumb protests?

Yep, I'm sure these 100 people will be a crippling blow the the COD franchise.

Also, (99.9%) people don't feel compelled to kill people after playing shooting game or crash cars in head-on collisions after driving games, so why would they want to kill dogs after shooting a dog in a virtual world?

Now I am totally and 100% against animal cruelty, but this is just fucking ridiculous. Its a game for Christ sake. Dogs are used in war, why don't you go protest about the real killing of them instead of whining about pixelized game play?

I pity people like this girl: "Oh noooo a doggy woggy got killed in a game" yeah well, a lot worse than that happens every damn day. Of all the things you could have protested about - killing dogs in a game? For god sake, you love your censored little world, don't you?

Yes because seeing anything on any medium immediately makes you want to replicate the actions, dear god children are going to start jumping down pipes after playing Mario. The bible's going to make our children want to kill their brother. The only way to make sure we're safe is to destroy all media on the planet

I sign petitions whenever asked(almost whenever asked), because nothing comes from them, and why would activision-blizzard even give a damn about 100 people?

Just who are you quoting, that has to be the dumbest statement I have heard in a good while, especially if you don't show proof

This sounds like another high school kid with too much time on his hands. This kid either needs to work harder in school, get a girlfriend, or jeez, just go do something. Sitting around your parents den going "oh my gosh" every time a video game does something 'horrible' is not the way to do it. When I was in high school I was too busy smoking drugs and not getting laid to worry about those dogs I was killing in Wolfenstein 3D.

Oh and considering I am from the state of Massachusetts, I can inform you all here and now, Tynsboro is a bit trashy. I'm surprised this kid is so shocked by the violence in the game. I'm sure he's seen worse out his front door.

Boo hoo. You see hundreds of virtual men being killed in the line of duty, based on real events, and they're getting heated up over a bunch of dogs?
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......wait, what?

I mean, really, this is ridiculous. Yes, dogs are killed in the game, along with many humans, but the only thing you people care about is da cute wittle puppies? Bugger off, Breanna Lucci.

Why haven't these upstanding and morally responsible people looked at the amount of innocent wildlife which is mindlessly slaughtered in games such as World of Warcraft? It's a quite staggering figure, I'm sure of it.
