"I see, your story is surprisingly similar to my own, though I believe I died far too many times in that war, I was little too brave for gun combat you see. Knowing where all these fights happened first hand certainly helps me find these little pieces of history."

Edward spun around at the sense of an immensely powerful buzz, the man behind him must have been ancient. Not to mention armed as well, Edward tapped his cane against the ground, indicating he was also armed before shaking his hand.

"Honoured to meet you, something tells me you are alot older than you look, may I know your name, perhaps I have heard of you?"

Noticing the other immortal Bogs took a moment to close his eyes feeling many more immortals than he thought on this boat many more than he had ever felt in one place. Looking to Edward Bogs could only feel concerned.

"Not to sound a bit presumptuous but with this many of our kind in one place Hunters can not be too far off." Bogs arm tensing ready to draw the blade hidden inside of his jacket.

"Hunters? You've had dealings with them before? They've never troubled me but I'm a touch high profile for them. I don't think they'd go after so many in such a public place but it is something to be aware of. We are on a boat after all, this could be a perfect time for them to strike us, I trust you are armed?"

"Zhao Shen. Born seventeen hundred years ago in China. You most likely have never heard of me, I spent a long time out of touch." He shook back firmly, letting the other Immortal feel his considerable strength." He glanced at the other immortals. By the look and feel of it, he was the oldest Immortal here. That was good - most immortals his age had taken dozens or hundreds more heads.

He gritted his teeth. "Hunters would not be so stupid as to attack us openly. Besides, I have allies in the Watchers. They will not interfere." He hoped. His allies in the Watchers were dwindling of late, the approach of The Gathering seemed to have more and more of them nervous to deal with him.

Looking to Zhao "I hope you are right friend." Glancing back to Edward "No Mr. Canesfort not personally I just no off them using guns *grimaces* you cannot imagine my distaste for such an impersonal weapon." at the same time revealing the inside of his jacket to Edward an opening in it the pommel of the blade barely exposed.

"My sentiments entirely, I've never been one for guns, haven't used one since the revolution to be honest, hunters on the other hand, have no such worries but as Zhao said, we have no worries of them attacking us here." Edward turned back to look at Zhao, "You are an ancient aren't you? A rare sight indeed these days, ancient immortals are popular targets amongst ambitious immortals."

I've been waiting for Tech to post so I can advance the plot but if he takes much longer I'll just have to have to assume he's on board the ship and continue.

"I've met my share of ambitious children...they did not survive the encounter." The vivid memory of ripping that man's head off with his bare hands outside the monastery came to mind. "You can hardly blame Hunters for using guns. They'd be mad to fight us blade to blade. It's the only way they can do what they think is best...and perhaps they're right? It would be better if all Immortals were destroyed than if...certain of our kind gained The Prize."

"That doesn't bear thinking about to be honest, now If you'll excuse me, I must head to the controls, the last guests should have arrived by now and it's time I got this show on the road, or the water in this case." Edward chuckled at his joke before nodding to the two immortals and leaving for the top deck.

Plot advance when I get back in the morning.

Walking into the exhibit room full of nothing but immortals Liem made his presence known

"Oi this is a group isn't it."

He said as he sweeped his vest away from his body revealing his long Kukri

Upstairs, Remi quietly ate as he contemplated what to do about the cluster of Immortals he could feel directly beneath him. I'm here anyway, he thought, I might as well figure out which ones I should keep away from. Steeling himself, Remi disposed of his plate, and walked downstairs.
Upon entering the exhibit room, Remi saw Edward and the other Immortals conversing. Letting himself relax a little, he walked over to them, getting ready to introduce himself. As soon as he caught sight of the kukri, he immediately turned on his heel and started walking away.

Xhan-Shi walked aboard the boat. He sensed the presence of other immortals instantly. He turned to Mr Canesfort and with a short bow said "greetings and prosperity upon you, most revered host."

Thanks for the bump, I'm in a different timezone too so I'm probably asleep at the wrong times.

Edward was halted on his way up to teh top deck by yet another immortal, this one also seemingly an ancient who greeted him strangely, unsure of what to do, Edward returnted the greeting. "Greetings and prosperity to you as well friend, others of our kind are gathered in the American Revolution room downstairs, perhaps you would care to join them while I start the ship?" Edward nodded respectfully and continued on his way up to the control room.

After politely greeting the guard in the control room, Edward got to work, first the the gangplank was retracted back into the ship with the same whirring of gears. Then Edward started up the engines and the ship began to sail down the river. The response to the ship starting was almost immediate, security guards and guests alike began to tense up. What's going on? They can't all be afraid of boats can they? Better do a radio check. Edward tried using the radio but was greeted only by static until finall he reached the crackling voice of the mechanic.

"What's going on with the radio? I can hardly reach you."

"Sorry... Think...Messing...Equipment" The radio cut out and Edward could raise no one it after several minutes of trying. Deciding he needed to let his maintenance team have space to deal with the issue, Edward found a megaphone in the control and used it to be heared all over the boat.

"Many apologies, we're having some slight technical problems and I'd like it if all of you could return to the top deck to let our maintenance team fix it. I can assure you it is nothing serious and the ship will continue to move out towards the bay."

"Alright everyone I know I'm much younger than all of you but this isn't good. I'm with the police and somethings not sitting right."

After that he ran up the stairs to the top deck to find the Captain

As Remi listened to the announcement, he began to walk back up the stairs. At around the halfway point, he stopped and looked around. He wasn't entirely sure why, but something just didn't seem right to him. After a few seconds, he decided it was probably nothing and continued on to the upper floor, quietly muttering to himself, "You're getting paranoid, Remi."

Remi stopped and looked over at Liem as he flashed a badge, recognizing him as the man with the kukri. Remi turned his body to face him. "My name is Remi Favreaux. Are you talking about Monsieur Canesfort? I have seen him, but I do not know where he is right now."

Dust In The Wind had sailed out into the open sea when it happened, the instruments in the control room suddenly went wild. The engines gave a choking roar before the ship juddered to a halt. Everything in the control room went dead despite Edward's frantic attempts.

"Damn maintenance, why do I pay those idiots, it's like someones just down there wrecking stuff!" Suddenly Edward was distracted by cries from guests below, two speed boats rapidly approached the stranded cruise ship. As they drove past men with machine guns opened fire, spraying bullets onto deck. Security needs to mobilise now! Those boats are coming around for another run!

Meanwhile, imposter security guards produced weapons and began firing on real guards, a large number of guests converged around one particular guard who started handing out machetes and hatchets. A loud voice rang out.

"The master said the captain must be decapitated! Shoot the others, if you aren't sure they're dead decapitate them too!"

Just thought I'd note these attackers aren't hunters so don't worry about looking for their symbol.

Remi stumbled a bit as the boat's engine gave out. Now he was sure something was wrong. In the distance, Remi could faintly hear what sounded like another engine. Before he could react, he heard machine gun fire peppering the ship, and instinctively ducked. "Merde!"

Remi raised his head when the gunfire subsided, reaching for his weapons. "What is going on?!"

"I don't know But we need to get back with the others now! Produce your weapons and defend your self, kill anyone with a gun besides me. The captain told me his guards don't have guns, so that is a dead give away."

As he said this he turned back down the stairs and started going down them in leaps of 2 and 3 at a time.
