Well, i say show us, they show us the first 10 minutes, featuring a speechless Bumblebee (and it's how i was at the end of the video)

Basically this mission is the "training" mission of the game, showing us the different control's, ability's, and new features in the game. The Graphics look spectacular, much better than the first game. The Voice Acting is nerd-gasmly epic and strong, and the characters are automatically recognisable, in their new, but nostalgic look.

So here it is, the first 10 minutes of the first level.

This game may have a G1 look, and it's what highmoon have gone for, however, this game is a prequel to the Prime series, and is part of a huge, super-continuity that Hasbro are planning. But, that's not to say that this can't also be a prequel for the G1 series. Sure Bumblebee loses his voice, and a few other details from the Prime series make it's way into this game, however with the look, feel and the way the game is portrayed, using your imagination, you can easily put this as a prequel to G1

What's next? Beast Wars? A game on Earth? A game set on another Planet? Before Earth? Who knows, but one thing i do know, this game is going to be a huge contender for GOTY, without a doubt.

Quite looking forward to this game, can't wait for it to be released

( that beast wars thing sounds pretty damn awesome... wish they'd do that... alter the story a bit so that dinobot can stay in a wee bit longer :D )

I still don't see why they keep having to make Bumblebee mute. Sure that's how he was in the Primus-awful movies but that didn't stop Transformers Animated from never letting Bumblebee shut up (but still entertaining). I hope they explain it in backstory during the game (I know it's gonna be Tyger Pax, it always is).
As for the gameplay, it looks a lot better. One of my major gripes from the last game was that you could only aim from one shoulder so it's great that you can now swap. Sprinting is a nice feature to have and it's not a bad tutorial that flows quite well with what's going on. I just hope that locking the player to one character is only for the tutorial, it was nice to have the option last time.

Well in the new show Transformers Prime Bee is mute, War and Fall are the prequels to the new show currently on TV. That is the new continuity going forward from now on.

In Prime they explain that Bee got captured on a scouting mission during the war and in the course of being tortured and left for dead Megatron ripped his voice box out. They explain in Prime that Cybertronians are bio mechanical in nature so there are limits on what they can fix/repair.

I really don't like the whole "bio" road they are going down but looks like we are kind of stuck with it...

Each level is locked to one character, but the level is specifically designed for that character and there ability's, for example, Cliffjumpers ability is stealth, so the map has loads of cover he can hide behind, to put his ability to better use, and Jazz has a grapple, which pretty much makes the map more vertical.

On the website for this game, there are 12 characters (some haven't been revealed) and Highmoon said there would be more than 12, which means, if each character has his own level, and there are more than 12 characters (meaning more than 12 levels) this is going to be one VERY long game, especially for a shooter.

That, plus the Multiplayer is getting an overhaul, means this could be one of the only games in years to have a good story AND good multiplayer! =D

As an old-school Transformers fan, and a fan of the first game, I'm looking forward to this.

However, I would indeed have prefered it if they had avoided trying to make a connection to Prime. I was much happier with the overall G1 connection they were going for in the first game.

To be honest i think that makes a lot of sense, Transformers die all the time, and as a kid i wondered why they didn't just get repaired, they are only machines.

But with this new "bio" road, it pretty much means some parts are linked to that particular character, parts that cannot be replaced (kind of like so organ's in the human body, such as the brain, etc)

Awww...I'm tired of mute Bumblebee.
War for Cybertron had Johnny Yong Bosch!

Pretty good level. I like the talkativeness of both sides. Weapons look cooler. I hope they add more mandatory vehicles sections, but in a more interesting way, like a race.
I actually had toruble recognising characters though.

I think the only reason Bumblebee transformed at that point was because of the Tutorial, HighMoon have stated that all levels are for you to make you own strategies, using the Character, The Ability he has, and His Transformation.

You can Transform whenever and where ever you wan't, just not in this mission :p

So yeah the 'Bots have Metroplex.

But Trypticon fell at the end of WFC.

So who the hell do the 'Cons have to fight Metro? Scorponok is the only one I can think of
