You know, when you're just fucking around and creating a character you make something that's just completely implausible and funny.

The one that I have made, is a Warforged Necromancer.

I'll repeat that. He is a : WARFORGED NECROMANCER

For those of you whom don't know what that is, it's basically a Walking, Talking Suit of Armor that can make Zombies.

Now the one you want to post about doesn't have to be a D&D one.

Never played D&D (unfortunatly) however if I ever try to intergrate my friends into it I would make the game as riduculous as possible so they arn't wierded out by the whole role playing fantasy thing. Oh I did try (and I think made) a Badass Kolbold Warlord riding a Behemoth on the downloadable character builder.

Arcanum. Picture, if you will, someone who delves into the worst dungeons in the planet in a smoking jacket and a top hat. This top hat is covered in wires and creates a magnetic field that deflects bullets and other attacks. He is carrying two weapons: A giant, fuel-covered fiery axe and a rifle that shoots lightning. He rarely needs to use either or enter dungeons at all since he can talk his way past most things in any case, but the point remains.

This person is a halfling.

My favourite character build was, in a semi-standard fantasy setting, a sort of trader/merchant/wizard hybrid. Not much in the way of combat skills, but Charisma, Persuasion etc. through the roof. Had a few spells (e.g. Levitate) that he used to really good effect.

Many of his remaining character points were invested in:
The Bag - A Bag of Holding type thing, that held all the items he was trading. We never specified what was in there, because we wanted to avoid boring the rest of the party with miscellaneous trading, so whenever I wanted to pull an item from the bag, the GM simply assigned a probability of me having that item and, if I succeeded on my roll, I had the item.
The Tent - Actually closer to a portable market stall. Magical, of course, and about the size of a large carpet. Lay it out on the ground, say the word, and you have an instant market stall to sell stuff from.

His greatest feats:
Selling a completely ordinary carpet to another player as a 'Magic Flying Carpet' and, with the other player not having purchased a 'Carpet Pilot's Licence and Training Course' at the same time, obviously being unable to make it take off. So he had to hire my character as a pilot. Every time. Levitate is a wonderful spell.

He also managed to sell several jars of 'Monster Repellent Cream' to another, seriously combat-averse party member in a private trade (which the GM missed out on because he'd gone to pick up pizza or something). In the very next battle, totally coincidentally, the GM had set up the enemies as a bunch of automated golem thingies - which only reacted to being attacked. Needless to say, the combat-averse character was completely ignored by the golems, and the legend of Monster Repellent was born!

He finally met his end when the party went off to divert an orc and hobgoblin army from the city. With companions sick of being sold junk, and a '1' on his Wisdom roll, the party managed to persuade him of the unutilised market for weapons and supplies presented by the enemy army. Needless to say, he couldn't talk his way out of that one!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy back when I played WWF Smackdown 2:Know Your Role, for a laugh I took 2 base create-a-wrestler males and made one a stick man with power moves and the other a huge fat man with high-flying moves. This game was well before the ones which took weight into account.

I've never played D&D before, but I once made a hilariously useless character in Oblivion in an attempt to see if I could get him to awesome character status.

Basically I chose an Orc to major in Combat with Personality and Willpower as his favorite attributes.

Then I made his major skills things like:

Speechcraft

Barter

Sneak

Unarmored

Mysticism

Alteration

Block
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, he didn't last too long, that character.

Warforged Charger?

Feels good to flex the 3.5 muscles again. Not necromancer material, but still pretty awesome. It's also in the MM3, if you can 'find' it.

well i used to play maple-story and one time i heard briefly of a strength cleric. so i made a character and i after i had just enough int to make it a mage i started putting everything into strength. i stopped playing when it was still level 15 or so so i never actually did make a strength cleric bit it was still pretty good

I once heard about a guy who played a warforged who thought it was actually a gnome trapped in an Iron Man style suit of power armor. My brother once made a half-orc cleric who thought he was a grandma halfling.

Ah, Troika. My last attempt at Arcanum was a Half-Ogre and it was pretty funny how the game reacted even if Arcanum isn't really a hit with me. For Bloodlines I played a Malkavian first and the people who say not to are horrible liars. Playing with a Malk first is hilarious and doesn't really spoil anything important.

My favourite builds are in Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup though. Sludge Elf Transmuter is a favourite because you throw exploding potions then go all kung-fu on monsters with bare hands combat. When they are dead you use necromancy to extract more potions from their corpse. And what the hell is a sludge elf anyway? The Hill Orc Priest is funny as well when all of the Orcs in the dungeon start treating you like John the Baptist.

No.

I mean the body type of the Warforged I showed you, but a Necromancer.

Guild Wars. I was a Necromonkcer. Capable of raising an army of the living dead, yet still able to Resurrect you so you'll die again so I'll get another minion :)

I also miss my Necro Monkcer. :(

Fallout 3. Abe Lincoln.

In Oblivion, 100% Chameleon was also very funny. Not only would NPCs fail to notice your crimes, they would sometimes try to justify the nearby corpses, saying "that's always been there" or that sort of thing even if the victim was killed in front of them moments ago.
