In the SNES version of FFIV, I used to get a kick out of naming Cecil "Boob", so that when you go to Mt. Ordeals and fight the Cecil doppleganger, Tellah yells out "THERE'S TWO BOOBS?". I thought it was very clever at the time.

Also, my girlfriend once traded me a Drowzee that she had named DrewCarrey. She swears up and down that the resemblance is there, but I really don't see it. In exchange, I traded her a Magikarp named Tittyfish. We had a good laugh.

Finally, I created a new town in Animal Crossing specifically for abusing the system (using the internal clock to time travel, misusing gift codes, etc) which I named Cooterville.

I'm very mature.

A friend of my called his Night Elf Druid "HelloCatForm" because Hello Kitty was unavailable.
It was a little funny for a while.

I've called my Pokemons many strange things, like my Metapod which I called PENIS:
"PENIS used HARDEN."

I once named my whole group in ff7 for Sephiroth, it was fucking hilarious!
"Sephiroth, we have to chase down Saphiroth and stop him from using the black materia, but we must also save sephiroth", it was like that through-out the whole game. It got pretty old after a while but still some scenes was priceless.

Since my second play-through of FFVII I've called Red XIII "Nanaki", just so when his real name was revealed Cloud would say something like "So Nanaki's real name is... Nanaki!"

Or playing as a Sith in KOTOR - "Heesno Jedai"
