FFX and every other final fantasy since they had the dumb ass idea to add voices that not only suck but took your ability to name the characters after you and your friends.

I'm not bitter.

I can't argue for X, X-2, 11 or 12, but FF13 had good voice acting. The acting wasn't the problem, its just that the characters were largely idiots. In particular I think Hope's voice actor did a good job, as did Lightning's

I burst out laughing at that too. The rest of the bad voice acting was tolerable(Having watched and played so many japanese games and anime, you get used to it), but that just came out of no where.

You ever watched h-anime (aka "hentai") in English? That shit is atrocious...

Japanese isn't much better. Half the time it sounds like they're strangling a kitten as opposed to having sex with a woman.

Oh, I know there are terrible Japanese VAs as well, or the original Japanese voice just sounds bizarre for the character (i.e. Dante or Viewtiful Joe in MvC3). What makes things slightly better is that the average [foreign] listener can't translate certain tones very well (unless he/she is quite fluent in Japanese themselves), so they can't tell if it's bad dubbing or not.

Besides, even if that were the case, I'd much rather listen to that than "official" English dubs performed by overrated porn stars with the acting ability of a wet (pun not intended) towel. Fortunately, I don't think there are anyone willing to dub h-games.

Scott McNeil. He also voices roughly 60% of all the characters in both Dawn of War games. Also he is the voice of Dinobot from Beast Wars.

The same guy who did the voice of the Guardsmen in DoW and Sgt. Merrick in DoW II? Was he like sick or something when he did Boreale?

The awful localization, the obviously chopped up audio, the lines with the unintentional sexual undertones, the mangled english! I just laugh harder and harder every time I watch it.
