When ya realize its not about stuff you WANT to do, but only about the stuff you HAVE to do :p
Also, the sudden realization you wont be the one who changed the world...

if i don't get enough sleep my body rebels. if i get too much sleep my body rebels. and my body is starting to reject me eating too much sugar. not to mention bad back, bad ankles, bad knees, and my eyesight is starting to get worse(damn it i'm only 26 it shouldn't be this bad yet!) and i can't do long gaming sessions anymore
Don't worry, 25 to 27 years old is the time when your body starts giving you the signs that you are getting older. It's not only the body that starts rejecting long gaming sessions, your mind starts reminding you that you most likely have better things to do or you really could use some rest.
I was more referring to the fact of me not being able to walk up stairs very well anymore. Anything more than 10 stairs and I have a lot of issues
Go see a doctor. Now.
been there done it. started happening 4 years ago they still dont know why

Im still bright eyed and optimistic when it comes to my entertainment...Ill become cynical soon enough Im sure..In fact I completley gave up on movies...couldnt name a single film thats come out...but ive gotten back into the habit of seeking out films and watching..tonight its "American beauty"..before it was "American phsycho" and mabye next weekend Ill continue the theme with "American history X"

anway thats really because ive thrown myself compltley in the the black hole that is gaming

Who among you has had your first inklings that you're starting to age? You're coasting through your early adulthood, still riding high on that youthful feeling of invulnerability. Suddenly and without warning, your mind and/or body suddenly pipes up and says, "look buddy, you aren't a kid anymore. You can't keep this lifestyle up for much longer, so get your shit together."
There were three major things for me.

First, around the time I turned 27, the word "regularity" took on an entirely different meaning.

Second, I learned about twitter when watching CNN one day.

Finally, there was a party in an apartment across the way-- and all i wanted to do was wave my fist in the air and tell them young whipper snappers to keep it down because some of us have to go to work in the morning.

You still think the PS1 is the greatest system of all time, despite the clear advances of the previous and current generations. (Me to a tee. That said, I'm turning 18 in January. I'm not really bothered by getting old, though.)

A teacher's least favorite words: "You were my mother's music teacher."
My mom used to have a crush on one of my high school English teachers.

If you went from being a high school teacher to elementary though...that wouldn't be so bad. You could conceivably still be in your 20's, if the mother got pregnant in high school...

And I'm pretty sure I topped that with my elementary school gym teacher. One day I asked her when her baby was due...except she wasn't pregnant, she just had a FUPA.

While I have stop growing but I remember when I used to be so small that I couldn't use the mirror in the bathroom (too tall for me). Of cource overtime I saw myself in the mirror more and more. This in turn also mean I got taller compare to my mum since I was small compared to her.

I'm starting to look things up on Urban Dictionary because I have no clue what they mean.

My knees crackle on stairs... but my condo is a main floor unit, so I don't normally use stairs anymore, so that may just be it.
Oh, my knees creak when I'm sitting on them, gathering stuff together and I always stop to think, "What's that noise?" then I slowly move and discover it's my knees. Certainly not the floor boards either.

People constantly asking me if I have kids. Or when I buy something they say "and get this for your kids!" ... Do I look like I have kids? My clothes are clean, I don't have bags under my eyes[...]
I have bags and dark circles under and around my eyes but that's from waves of insomnia ever since I was age sixteen. The odd, individual gray hair for quite some time now. Sigh.

I can make that worse :p . I consider the snes the best gaming system made. Most of the games i consider great are from the snes.

Gamers who've been around a while consider it a very, very close call between those two systems, but I think in a few years we'll have the historical perspective to say that with games like

The Legacy of Kain series,
the Team Ico games,
the Xenosaga franchise,
Tales of the Abyss,
the original Kingdom Hearts,
the two Metal Gears
(and the first iteration of the under-rated MGO),
The three Silent Hills
etc.

That the PS2 will be considered the strongest console.
Oh, and that's just the games I like. There are also so-called "classics" I didn't put on that list like FFX, FFXII, and the forgotten games of the WWII genre (which became today's "NOT the war in Iraq-istan" genre.)
