Dane Cook.
I hate that man with a passion. Half the time what he's saying isn't even a joke it's just an observation usually screamed in an incredibly annoying and unnecessary mock voice.

But yes I do have a friend that seems to kill jokes on a very regular basis. In my circle of friends he was cruelly dubbed "the Ian Huntley of jokes" because of his finesse of making the funny unfunny.

He's not my friend, even though he seems to think he is, but his jokes are so bad that the world needs to know. I've forgotten most of his jokes (thank god), but one that I remember he said when some friends and I were talking about Super Smash Bros. and at one point I mentioned how Jigglypuff was a useless character, so he said "Its name isn't Jigglypuff, it's JigglyBITCH!" and he started laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world. We just stared at him with "Um... what?" expressions.

I'm one of those people, but at least I'm funny about 65% of the time and when I make a bad joke it's meant to be satirical.

i have a friend like that in my group of friends at school,
we have a running joke about one of our friends who we call
"poor boy" We basically make cracks about him living in a cardboard box/ being poor,
stuff like that, even though he doesn't. The thing is, he can't take a joke, what makes this worse is that I'm amazingly talented at making up split second jokes on the spot depending on the situation, and he couldn't make a person laugh even if he had filled a room with laughing gas, locked himself and the other person in the room, and started telling jokes non stop for 5 days straight.

Carlos Mencia.
In a character completely opposite that other thread, amen.

*prepares flame shield*
Also, Steven Colbert. I liked his tongue-in-cheek sarcasm at first, but it got very annoying to me, very quickly. Which I find odd, since I usually enjoy smart humor in any of its forms.
BY FIRE BE BURNED!!!!!

one sec, my impression of Dane Cook yelling his "jokes":
"you know what I hate? TABLES, you can go under them!!!!!!, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO PUT THINGS ONTOP OF THEM!!!!"

because as someone earlier said, that is EXACTLY what he does, he yells about stupid observations really loud until someone laughs. someone made the comparison to me "but what about Jerry Seinfeld? he just made observations!

to this I said... yes... but Jerry Seinfeld makes observations that are clever. Jerry Seinfeld also doesnt try to burst my ear drums with his punchlines...

Ehehheh, I sometimes do that.
And he's not my friend but Ricky Gervais, I hate that smug git.
Thank YOU!

Ricky Gervais has got to be the most untalented and unfunny embarrassment to come out of the UK in recent years. Why people find him funny I have no idea... and don't even say 'The Office' because that was an epic fail in itself (come on, America thought they'd bastardise it just because it was successful).

And breathe... sorry I just had to get that out.

None of my friends are funny. I have to take the roll. But people (Usually) laugh at my humour.

I have a friend who, when something funny is said repeats it INCESSANTLY until it is not only no longer funny, but really embarassing to watch.

On the other hand, she's so nice, I'd feel bad about telling her to "shut the hell up". ):

EDIT: Oh, and this one guy at my bus stop who smells like a homeless man. I was totally ready to tell him off, but I remembered he was three times my size and lived on my street. At least he graduated the other day.

Again, Carlos Mencia and Dane Cook. And anyone who thinks their jokes are funny and copies them.

I can't say I'm friends anyone like that, though. Not out of avoidance, but it's just the way things turned out.
