I've heard about it, and as long as it's got a better ending than the last book i'm fine with it (the best number to end it with should be 42...)

so the very idea that the series is now somehow going to be continued is really quite bizarre. How is that going to work? Tell me I'm not the only one concerned about all this. And also, does this Eoin person qualify properly for this? did he ever know Douglas Adams? will he be able to hold up the spirit of The Guide? I'm frankly worried . . . it just doesn't seem right, especially if the only reason he wrote a "final" book is because he thinks Mostly Harmless was bland and taht "6 is a better number to end on than 5"

Quite a long low pitched hmmmmmmmm.

I'm not sure. If it's written in a Douglas Adams style it will seem forced and horrible. If it's not it won't be Hitchhikers. For me. If Adams were alive to sanction it them maybe. But he's not so....

I will read this. But I don't expect to be happy about it.

Have you heard the audios? He sorts it all out in the final part, they survive because of the babel fish so...THEY LIVE
