My thoughts would be that:

Firstly, Diana had a single, pointless line over the phone, the actor didn't feel right for 47, his features were too... soft, and they called it "The Organisation" rather than "The Agency" which just got to me for some reason, probably because it's wrong. Basically, to the untrained observer this film would most likely seem like a slightly less deep version of a Bourne film. Also The ending, which I shan't spoil too much, implies some sort of extreme clairvoyance on Mr 47's part which just left me wondering what the point of the film was had he already known enough to plan the end of the film for himself in advance. Finally, the day that the 47 would actually gain a love interest (or at the very least a witness he doesn't kill (as if he'd leave one anyway)) and depart from his a-moral line of payed murder (or at least take a break for a bit to spend quality time with said interest/witness) would be the day that work is cancelled in hell due to heavy snow.

Or maybe I'm just too cynical and unforgiving these days... you can go either way really.

I'm not going to see it, I know it won't live up to my expectations. Why? Because it shouldn't be an action movie, it should be a drama/thriller. This man is supposed to act like the embodiment of death itself. 47 to me, I think, is like Hercules; he's a man, but he has almost a supernatural ability to kill people without being seen instead of being supernaturally strong. He's a living myth, one step under a super hero. I think they casted the wrong actor, I think 47 needs to look either very late thirties or middle forties. Olyphant's voice lacks the foundation needed to impress upon me the willpower 47 would need. Olyphant doesn't look European enough, 47 needs harder features in his face and a chilling stare. Another thing is that this man is not affected by sexuality in any way, it's crucial to his character, it shows that his willpower is such that he resists even the most basic instinct of mankind. This is not to say he doesn't have feelings, but it is extremely rare that he will act with his feelings, especially if it makes his path to his target longer. This man dresses like an Opera and kills better than a ninja; I just don't think they could have put enough effort into knowing who this character is before writing a script for it, casting and directing it.

I was hoping that the movie would have stealth. You know, the way you're supposed to play the game but don't because you're having fun killing everyone with a shovel? That would've been better. Oh, and they should have at least had Vin Deisel perform the role if you're looking for a bald white guy. What's-his-face was hilariously scrawny.

i hope they bring out hitman 5. i really loved those games (not gay) really best games' i had ever played.
How can you have gay love for a game? Games don't have gender. They're inanimate for chrissakes.

Anyways, haven't seen the film, and I don't particularly want to. I'm saving my movie pennies for when The Dark Knight comes out.

this. i'm a big fan of the games, and this looks like a radical departure for everything i've come to know and love. I'll wait for the dark knight as well.
