After playing through HL:2 and both episodes...I really don't see what the big deal is, and I honestly don't care what happens to any of the characters. I guess Half Life 2 just isn't for me. :/

This. The "G-man" appears and serves no real point to the plot and I didn't even bat an eyelid when Eli died since he'd only appeared a couple of times AND he used the "you're like a son to me" I'm about to die cliche line

I actually think they're just keeping it "in the works" to build intrest and make other valve titles do better (more likely to buy another title if you think maybe some info about EP3 may be included)

Is kind of a cool poster though once you realise it's not just a black background

First, try and type properly and have some good punctuation and grammar. Secondly, there are not "Rumors" of Portal 2 because its been officially announced by Valve months ago.
