Just finished watching an anime called Future Diary and wow...that ending really made me feel them feels...especially after watching the OVA. But then again I'm a sappy sentimental type. :p

So it's a simple enough question I bring to you: what was the last book/movie/show/game/what-have-you that made you Feel the Feels?

I'm in my third reread of the Malazan Book of the Fallen and them feels keep returning. I know what's coming but it seems that doesn't matter at all, I feel them all over again.

Sunday night when I finished Tales From the Borderlands episode 5.

That was a feel rollercoaster. Laughing at their shenanigans during the final fight, to crying at a certain scene, and then back to laughing again.

But that one scene, man. I had tears going for a while since that game did a really good job at getting you attached to the characters and I felt for them at that moment.

Are.....are you me?

Because first you say you have the day off for Veterans day like I do and now you just played Tales from the Borderlands and felt the feels like I did...

I'M ONTO YOU FIZ THE TOASTER!!!...or should I say FIZ THE TIPPY2K2!!!!

You would figure after playing so many Telltale games that I would become immune to their emotional trickery but you would be wrong. I imagine it will continue to be wrong once Telltale Game of Thrones last episode comes out (though like all TT games, I have them all bought and ready to play but I don't actually play them until the last episode comes out because I prefer my soul crushing depression in one giant chunk)...

When the Cutie Mark Crusaders finally got their marks. The ending song, especially when Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity sang about how proud they were. After five seasons...the feels...

I tend to get the feels kinda easily annoyingly enough, having a stupid high level of empathy for others does that. Thanks brain.

Recently, almost every event that happens in Umineko No Naku Koro Ni Chiru had me in tears. That second half is crazy good. In particular, any of the more plot moving/character developing scenes between Rosa and Maria are fucking impactful (heh) Maria joins the small group of video game children I actually like even. The group previously consisting of just Nanako from Persona 4.

Last week when I watched this-

Without spoiling too much, my emotions when from joy to sadness.
Well ok I can take solace that she was finally "found" therefore she can reast in peace but still it was bad enough when the adults thought he had a imaginary friend! It was gutwrecking finding out her fate and imagining how she must of suffered before dying from either from her wound or stavation!

Shhh...

You'll ruin everything if you keep this up. :p

But yeah, I'm kinda excited/dreading the Game of Thrones stuff since I'm waiting for it to finish up so I can play it. I will say I think Tales From the Borderlands is Telltales best game yet since it was nicely done.

And doing a good job of leaving me sobbing like a child.

Not to turn this into Tales from the Borderlands thread but I (almost) fully agree. The only one I would consider putting above is Walking Dead Season 1 but that also might be cause it was my first time and you always have a special place in your heart for your first...(tee hee...naughty thoughts)

The thing that did the best with The Feels (to keep the discussion on track) was it really wasn't a sad feels like Telltales normal shtick. There certainly was sadness in it but there was such a great sense of comradery that I'm not sure I've ever really felt in another game (Maybe Mass Effect? Maybe?). Like it's source material, it also gave me such a comedic good time that I certainly loved. I know I literally laughed out loud at a couple of the lines throughout the game (with a certain little robot being the biggest giver of laughs).

Yeah, The first season of The Walking Dead would be one that I would put above it. That's only because of how hard I cried at the end and how terrible I felt in the last episode. Man, what a rid. I also laughed pretty hard at the little robot man. And I also wanted to give Gordys a hug. She was adorable. :D

I think inFamous 2 held that spot for a while in terms of feels for me since the relationship between Cole and Zeke was awesome, and I really loved the moments between them. During the evil run I felt like a piece of shit at the end and I thought it was nicely done.

So, I'm playing FTL. I've got some ion weapons and a fire beam. So I've ionized a pirate ship's shields and I basically set the entire thing on fire with the fire beam. The crew dies except for a single Rockman who's immune to fire. He's desperately trying to get the ship's helm back online as the whole things burns. Eventually the life support burns out. The many fires quickly use up the remaining oxygen, and then all are extinguished when the oxygen runs out.

So this poor Rockman, at the agonizingly slow pace Rockmen move, starts trekking across the ship towards the life support room. The complete lack of oxygen means he's losing health with every step. Finally he arrives, and starts working on repairing the life support. Slowly he bangs away at it. A bit more repaired, a bit less life, a bit more repaired, a bit less life. Finally, he fixes it! And then, in the two seconds between repairing the life support and the ship flooding with fresh breathable air, he keels over dead, with the sound of a pile of rocks falling to the ground.

You died a hero, Rockman.

Then I scrapped what was left of his ship.

I watched No Country For Old Men again the other night. Incredible film. The sheriff talking at the end about the dream with his father going on ahead to light a fire in the dark made my eyes prickle.

The end of the Witchblade anime (I know, I know.)

Yes, its kinda fanservice-y but its Witchblade and really, past the first few episodes and a few moments, its actually a really touching and sweet show about a mother doing everything she can for her daughter and the people she loves.

Funny, a fucking Witchblade anime ends up being one of the most progressive things I've seen in anime in a LONG, LONG TIME. Plus some pretty great voice acting and a great effort all around, unlike some anime in more recent years.
I actually freaking teared up and cried because Melony went through so much, especially when she
Started losing her fucking physical senses and couldn't even taste the meal her daughter made for her, which turned out to be her last meal

Now I'm crying. The part with Mariel is incredibly strong.
You. Yes, you. o(-.-)

I like you. (^.^)

OT: Any chapter in any game in the Danganronpa series. You want feels? Play those games. All of them. The feels train will take you to the depths of hope and despair...and then keep going.

It was Remembrance Day yesterday and I took a minute's silence to reflect on what my grandfathers told me about what they went through in WWII. Yeah, that.

It's one of the reasons why I bought the complete series on DVD... Definitely one of the best interpretations of the Witchblade mythos...

OT: The last time? The Peanuts Movie a few days ago...
The little monologue Heather says about Charlie Brown was not something I was expecting to see in that movie...
Before that, it was the movie Whiplash, but mostly for relating to Andrew's determination... The ending touched me musically, though...
