It was Remembrance Day yesterday and I took a minute's silence to reflect on what my grandfathers told me about what they went through in WWII. Yeah, that.
Very well said, my friend. Today was Veteran's Day (which I'm guessing is our US equivalent to Remembrance Day). Both of my grandfather's served in WWII, and as a tradition my father, my brothers, and I go and visit their graves to pay our respects.

Every time it gets me right in the chest whenever we do so.

Just finished watching an anime called Future Diary and wow...that ending really made me feel them feels...especially after watching the OVA. But then again I'm a sappy sentimental type. :p

So it's a simple enough question I bring to you: what was the last book/movie/show/game/what-have-you that made you Feel the Feels?
Oh man, everyone says that anime is bad (and in a way it is, I guess), but I had a blast watching future diary. I don't care what anyone says. It was just so much fun. I even got a little choked up at the end.

Toradora. That anime is the funniest thing I've ever seen, but it really punched me in the gut. It's the only high school anime that I've enjoyed watching. I highly recommend it. There were a few scenes that stuck with me.

Captcha: go berserk.

You know me so well captcha. Berserk definitely flayed me emotionally. Good god...

Dear Esther.
The moment I had to load it up for the sixth playthrough for a class. I wept.

Seriously though, some moments in the final act of Witcher 3 hit me pretty hard. I'm not going to say what ending/elements they were because spoilers, but CDPR is currently my favorite writing team in the industry.
Before that it was finally getting around to beating TWD:Season 1 last year. Haven't picked up a telltale game since then because I'm not sure anything will stand up to how I felt in episode 5.

I've gotten my PS4 about a week ago (I know, late the party as usual, CrimsonBlaze), and I've been able to experience The Last of Us in the glorious current gen.

Now I've played a bit of it on the PS3 (borrowed it to see if it was any good, and yes it was) and that one sad bit before the main game begins...

...I sat in awestruck, with my mouth open and a wave of feels washing me away.

Even though I was expecting it on the PS4, I still wasn't strong enough to break the wave of feels, especially with its glorious 1080p 60 fps.

On a recommendation from a friend, I recently just played and Finished Undertale.

Needless to say, I wasn't ready and it has succeeded in effectively getting me to feel emotions. Been a VERY long time since a game succeeded at doing that.

I absolutely loved it. It's kinda like the Fate/Stay series only instead of calling forth ancient legendary heroes, the players kinda...you know...have magical cellphones. :p

My favorite bits are when Yuno gets "unleashed", when she's allowed to go Full Yandere and just kill the fuck out of everyone that poses a threat to her beloved. She gets that crazy look in her eye and you just know that people are going to die. Even more humorous is when she just slips into murder mode and casually picks up a blade and walks towards the person she's going to kill (such as the father). Just kinda "don't mind me, I'm just going to straight-up murder this person. xD

But yeah, what gave me The Feels with this series was definitely the end. Obviously everyone in the show has had a tragic past, and once you learn the root cause of Yuno's psychosis, you can start to sympathize with her...well, at least a little bit. The fact remains that she is a psychotic murderer :p.

The problem is that, despite the fact that Yuno and Yukki love each other they can never be together. After all, they're both players in the game. That's what got to me the most: the tragic romance between the two. And with the OVA basically providing a bonus episode to show the true ending of the series........yeah, the happy ending REALLY got to me.

Yeah, no sorry guys, but I DESPISE Future Diary. One of the few anime that I dropped fairly early on.

I know a lot of people are sick to death from hearing this, but Undertale is a game that got under my skin in ways that no game has in a long time

A certain walk through a certain someone's home while this was playing in the background...

...and meeting that certain someone elevated the game from "this is pretty cool" to "holy shit"

I think the humor, and over the top action, is what sucked me in. Everything is so ridiculous, it just put a big ol' smile on my face. Having a laughably psychotic, totally unpredictable Yuno didn't hurt either. I didn't know what a "yandere" was when I watched it, I just thought it was a great novelty. Then, when things got a little more serious, I actually cared. It's nice to see a series that doesn't seem to take itself too seriously. I've heard people call it silly, but, yeah, that's kind of the point : P

I'd like to see this played with more. Like, have a harem anime where every girls a yandere, and their all constantly plotting to kill each other while the lead is unaware. Hell, throw some dudes in there too. That would be hilarious.

I feel like people underestimate the importance that humor can play in having a sad or tragic series. The humor makes you care about these characters. That way, when something happens, it matters.

I just finished watching an Undertale playthrough. I regret not playing the game myself now.

Add another to the Undertale train. I boarded late, but it was a great ride. Cannot remember the last time I felt such feels from anything.

I loved it so much I bought it a second time off their just to make sure I'd have a completely DRM-Free version so I'd always have it in case Steam ever collapses and takes my library with it.

You're just salty because you don't have a cute pink-haired psycho girl to murder all your enemies. :p

Undertale and The Witcher 3 for me too.
The Bloody Baron giving his baby a name and a proper burial. Even something as simple as letting the godling stay in the run-down house and later learning that she'd struck a friendship with the oneiromancer.

I could post this under Assassin's Creed: Something or Halo Something: Something, but since it gave me angry feels, this is probably the most appropriate place. I finally got around to trying Far Cry 4. It only took a few hours to go from I DON'T NEED XP I GOT AN ELEPHANT to ragequit.

Imagine you're a bad guy guarding hostages. You start to feel like there's something missing. (Hint: it's your friends. Their corpses are stacked behind a rock). Then some idiot who's clearly stopped giving a damn runs up to you and sprays the few bullets he has left in his clip in your general direction. This idiot stops to reload and for some reason simultaneously fiddles with his molotovs and meat chunks (the key bindings are set up in a way that you can't use the mouse wheel to cycle weapons). What's the most rational thing to do? You start shooting the hostages, of course!

I got a strong Feel from LiS for the end of Episode 2. The rest of the game didn't have as much of an emotional punch for me.
