Movies, pop culture trivia, sports trivia, all trivia, wishing to get something worthwhile done. I follow the LoL pro scene and a lot of different sports up to a point. Unfortunately right now I don't have any regular hobby I wouldn't consider a waste of time for the most part. I'd play Stepmania, but my pad is broken. I used to be really good at it.

inb4 sad post, I recently scrapped my career plans because I didn't like how they looked, and so I'm a bit stressed out in general about my future. Yet hopeful as always.

I have lots of hobbies that range from writing fiction to writing code.

Most recently, I'm into developing conceptual card games and board games.

I've developed a prototype of a UNO-style FNAF2 card game and I'm in the middle of developing a Monopoly-styled board game with a different setting and RPG elements.

Reading/Writing.
I dabble in visual arts too.
Play guitar, manage/produce a couple of local groups.
Rock climbing, biking, camping, getting into paintball a bit.
And fairly regular gym sessions and jiu-jitsu training.

I used to read book after book while I was at school. My local library had a teen section, and I read every single book there that took my interest. I barely read at all now, I never did my work, or did it so fast, I just used the time spent trapped there tearing through novels.

Now, I would like to learn auto repair but there's too much standing in my way. Same for psychology. I guess I don't really do much besides watch Youtube...like an unhealthy amount of Youtube.

Oh, and rap. Not your average stuff, puzzles, wordplay, stuff like that. But I've had writer's block for SIX MONTHS. I got a studio grade mic and some Sony MDR7506's for Christmas to maybe help, but they haven't done much so far. ...porn sounds better though.

I do two different martial arts. Brazilian Jujitsu and Krav Maga. Although I've been slacking pretty hard on the former. The gym where I train changed hands and the new owners/instructors are kinda crap compared to the old ones. The Krav has been there to fill the hole though.

I read a fair bit. Tends to happen in bursts. I'll read nothing for a month or two, then find a new series or author and furiously read everything I can find for another month or two. Rinse and repeat.

As for fields of knowledge, I guess I'd know more history than the average person. Although that's not saying much. My history knowledge is very scattered and uneven.

Does drinking count as a hobby?

I play bass- currently I've found myself in a blackened death metal band, but I'm keen to do something else. A couple of mates want to start up a bluesy rock sort of band and that sounds like fun, and I've been writing a bunch of Death From Above 1979 type stuff.

I'm also a bit of a gear hound, I love tinkering with stuff. I've made a fuzz pedal (it's not great, it's the most raucous, dirty, distorted fuzz I've ever heard) and I've done quite a lot of modifications to some of my basses. The coolest thing I've done is copy Mikey Demus in Skindred and put a siren in my Squier JB if you pull out the tone pot.

Apart from that, I read quite a bit. Kurt Vonnegut is my favourite author, but I'll read pretty much anything. Went on a bit of a Hunter S Thompson binge over the Summer, I'm working my way through all the free classics on the Kindle store right now. Moby Dick is shite.

Well I'm a 4th year graduate student in nuclear physics. Also I do crossplay. I've done Sailor Mercury, Twilight Sparkle, Reimu Hakurei, Hong Meiling, Satoko Hojo, and Princess Zelda. I plan on doing creating an Annie (LoL) and Cardcaptor Sakura crossplay.

I also have a somewhat sizable gem collection at my home.

I've done drawing in the past, which I should go back to in the near future, but I haven't had the time or interest as of late.

Engineering of just about any kind as long as I got some time and money for it.
Hell if I had the money I would be putting people on the moon for sure, well I would certainly be shooting them towards the moon and we would work out some landing details later, as long as they sign death wavers it should be fine.

I highly doubt I can even call myself average in any of these fields as they are so very high end, but surely am less dumb on the subjects then people who never heard of them... probably.
Do you play kerbal space programme per chance?
a favourite quote I have read from that game: what goes up, must explode!

Outside of gaming I enjoy reading, drawing, writing, watching football/soccer and going for a run.
I have a passing interest in aviation and engineering but it's not really a hobby.

Im a fan of Magic tricks but im more of an magic enthusiast rather than someone who's public about it (heck, im kind of introverted and hide it from the family). im also interested in drawing however my art is pretty bad and it's just plain frustrating to spend 3+ hours on something only for it to turn out really bad. it's disheartening to see no one paying attention, there's just no way to get creative imput from like-minded people since all the prominent ones are just too big to pay attention (which i wouldn't put against them due to their figurehead status, and that they have their own lives offline) whilst all the smaller ones doesn't do art neither and just suggest stuff like "draw them bigger" or "hey, can i suggest [long line of annoying things]" or "hey can you draw X for me please??".

Food is pretty nice, not much of a chef, but i sometimes get scraps from the fridge and throw them into stuff, like one time i had some noodles in the microwave, throw in the curry powder and a dab of marmite and let it permeate the noodles, drain almost all the water then throw a little grated cheese and chicken slice chunks and suddenly it's more hearty. was also thinking of a Macaroni & Cheeseburger though it'd be difficult to have a paste-like microwave Mac n Cheese to go around the burger.

Does collecting physical video game copies count if I never end up playing them? I mean, I had to sell my Dreamcast just to fit more physical games! It's was not a good Monday this week!

Also, I do a lot of writing of the fiction kind, I keep buying "new" music to the point that they're more obscure than I've come to believe at times, and I watch a lot of shows ranging from anime to those seasonal shows that may or may not get an award during award season...

Other than that, I collect old/expired casino cards from my grandmother... :p

This has actually been a problem for me lately. Since 'finishing' high school I've been fairly bored. Gaming has really been my only hobby for most of my life. The past 5 or so years games have spoiled me so I can't really 'watch' stuff that often now, unless it's with my friends. Trying to get into reading a bit more, picked up the "Death" focused Discworld books.

-Music: Mainly drums, but also bass guitar and ukulele. I know where the notes are on guitars and pianos.
-Programming: Sometimes for work, other times for fun side projects.
-Reading: I have a terribly long list of lecture notes from various famous CompSci/Maths/Physics lecturers to go through at some point. I try to go through a bit each day, along with some of my current book as well.
-Circus Skills: Mainly devil sticks, but some juggling as well.

EDIT: Also, I'm doing a PhD in Quantum Physics, so I'm kind of interested in that too, I guess.
