Never mind, all the stereotypical squad roles are taken :3
I can't figure out what kind of character I'd want to be.

the game has officially started, anything not in game will now be posted in spoiler boxes thank you.
"Well after those last repairs we are now almost completely broke. Luckily I found a little work. A guy needs to ship fifty pounds of mercury to a town on the baja peninsula." Ian sat on the tailgate of his truck sweating in the heat of the mojave. He looked around at the small town he stopped at to make the badly needed repairs to his vehicles. Ted's Spring was a stupid name for a town. the only reason it existed was for the copper in the area. He was near the center of the town, the outside was a wooden and scrap metal wall with the poorest houses using it as a back wall. Ian was parked near the parts shop watching the towns people go about their tedious lives as he talked to his gang. Suddenly he turned strait to Milton. "You know that the damage was mostly your fault, if you hadn't burned down that bar we wouldn't have had half the people in the town trying to kill us. Because of that you have to ride in back for this next run." Ian jumped off the tailgate turned around and closed it, walked around and got into his truck. "Come on, hurry up."
nothing against you Kip just making story, you ride in truck bed Pandalisk rides in truck with me, rest in van. the MG in back of truck folds down into a sort of z shape and is kept in a box. just pull lever when we need it out this is for when riding into town heavily armed is not a good idea. similarly the cannon on the van is on a rotating turret on top and can be brought in and out of van on hinge. please ask if you have any questions.

Jason sat on top of the van, the heat bearing down on him. It had never been this hot in this part of the world, not since the disease that is. Jason looked over in Ian's direction when he shut the tailgate, and heard him say to get back in the vehicles. Jason jumped down from the van easily and walked around to the driver side of the van and hopped in, starting the ignition.

"Alright the rest of you, get in or im leaving you behind." Jason called out the window to the remaining crew members.

Hope its cool that im driving, since i was first to post and all

"That goddamn bartender was watering down my whiskey, I know he was!" Milton grunted as he climbed into the bed of the truck. The chassis groaned and shifted as he sat down, resting his arm on the .50 cal next to him. "And besides..." Milton continued, turning his attention back to Ian. "Since when have you been concerned about a little bloodshed?"

Milton took a cigarette from his pocket, lit it and took a drag. "I seem to recall a few times you were more than happy to use "Excessive force". " Milton smiled as the smoke enveloped around him.

Isaac eyed the townspeople cautiously, then hopped into the back of the van.
He looked at his shotgun, then loaded another shell into it, and pumping it deliberately dramatically.
"Excessive Force is fine with me..." He said, grinning.

"Quit complaining, just be happy you got that place up in flames before me." Ace was the last one to get inside the van, slamming the doors at the back. He slipped his hat atop his eyes to block sunlight and shortly after the van's engine began rumbling he fell asleep.
"Wake me if...*yawn*..anything needs sniping..."

Mai moved as the gang began to climb aboard their Vehicles. The Cat firmly clutched in her hands, pulled tightly against her chest, its purring vibrating through her Upper body and calming her nerves.

Passer-by looked towards the Mobilizing gang, eyes heavy with suspision, or was it Hostility? Every town was the same, townfolk knee deep in their own Paranoia and Xenophobia, it always worked on her nerves, no matter, the Road was her home, her bed the side seat of a battered Truck.

She griped the cat tighter with one arm as she reached up as high as she could to the hot Truck door handle, the sun's reflection slightly dazzling her as she did so. she opened the door and clambered up, it could almost be called Comical seeing a small girl lift herself into a high Truck seat.

Having made it onto the seat she switched the arm which held the cat close, it meowed in annoyance at being Juggled about, she whispered Sweet apologese as she reached out as far as she could to close the Heavy truck door with a loud bang. Safe at last.

She began to stroke the cat as her attention was grabbed by the strange destortion of the road ahead by the Heatwave.

I thought it was pretty...The Flames she silently Mummured.

Milton leaned back into the cab as he took the last drag off his cigarette. He exhaled with an agitated sigh. It had been a long couple of weeks, and the bar-fire was a result of that. Milton never liked it when his crew was in danger, but sometimes he just had to vent on someone.
He flicked the butt to the ground and turned his neck to face through the rear window of the cab. "So, Ian...Think we'll run into any trouble on this outting? I could use a little more stress relief." He said as he raised his hand and mimicked the shape of a gun.
"and I've been hesitant to point this out, but, we haven't blown anything up in awhile. I mean sure there was that last incident, and the caravan mishap before that, and the several other small explosions before that. But I haven't got to REALLY bomb something in awhile. It's a little nerve-racking." Milton cracked a slight grin before sinking down into the bed of the truck, pulling down his skullcap to shield his eyes.

Ian pulled out the mass of wires under the steering wheel and started the truck. He popped in one of the CD's he recovered and started to drive north. "The problem wasn't the bloodshed, it was the fact that they shot up my damn truck, Milkman. There better not be any trouble on this next mission, I'm looking forward to some easy money." Ian weaved through houses and shops until finally reaching a two story building with its back on the north wall. It was solidly constructed of cinder blocks and had bars on the heavy wooden door. There was a small hand painted sign over the door that said 'PAWN'. Every town had a shop like this, where just about anything could be bought or sold. Ian parked his truck in the short alley way beside the building and got out just as the van pulled up just outside of the alley. "Isaac grab your gun and come with me the rest of you stay by the cars and watch the entrances." He pulled out his AK and started walking to the entrance. He could hear his favorite song on that CD playing as he opened the door. You know I'm born to loose and gambling's for fools but that's the way i like it BAM. The door slammed shut behind him and Isaac as they entered the dark grungy shop cutting off the music. Ian waited for his eyes to adjust to the weak light before moving deeper. He squeezed between shelves of junk and salvage trying to get to the cage in the back. When he finally got there he was confronted by a mountainous blob of a man.
"Wada ya want"
"I'm here for the job offer."
"You the one that's gonna take the mercury down south?"
"Yeah"
"Wait a sec"
The man lumbered into a back room appearing a moment later pushing a cart with a crate on it. He pushed it up to the wall immediately to the left of the cage. Ian could hear some grunting then part of the wall was pulled up and the box sat in a recess with a bag of money beside it. He picked up the box and left the money to be picked up by Isaac. Ian carried the box over his head as he squeezed back through the shop and reached the door. Kicking it open he was blinded by the light as he walked outside as he walked to the van. "Open the damn door Ace," he shouted as he lifted the box to put it inside. "Well we got the stuff now we just have to get it to Baja Bombas."

<spoiler=oops> I intended to post before you, Fifth, but I'll edit this post accordingly now.
Isaac picked up the money on the counter, nodding with a smile to the man.
"Thanks." After slinging his shotgun by it's leather strap over his shoulder, he then followed Ian out, helping him carry the crate.
"Where's the destination, Boss?"

Ace was dreaming such a nice dream, it involved mutated kittens, a horde of plagued villagers and a sniping tower with boxes and boxes of bullets. Before Ace could experience this dream first hand, a nasty annoying voice ringed his ears, waking him. Clink, the doors went open.

"Oh, hey boss. I was having such a nice dream. This the mercury? Much less then I expected."

Ace grabbed the boxes out from Ian's and Isaac's hand and placed them behind the front seats, then squating beside them while placing his hand on top of them so they wouldn't move.

"Yeah, I was thinking that." He said, handing the boxes over. "You should stay awake more, Ace." Isaac joked with a smile.
He then hopped in behind Ace, unslinging his shotgun.
His eyes wide, he began counting the cash.
"Whoa-ho...." He said, whistling theatrically as he finished.
"This is a lot of money, Boss. This shit's important, right?" He asked, as he sat next to a box.
"'Cause I was thinking... maybe we could just sell it on for a little extra? Y'know, that guy's never gonna notice..." He said smirking. He held the hand with the wad of money out to Ian.

"Whoever is getting this mercury is probably going to use it to make mercury fulminate. Now I don't know about you but I don't want to mess with people who are making that stuff. Besides this is only paying enough to restock some of our supplies so we might need another job in the area soon." Ian said as he took the money and started walking back to the truck.
i need help i don't know what to use for money. old us money would be worthless and i don't want to use gold so anyone have any ideas as to what to use?

<spoiler=OOC> Or maybe other types of metal, too? Like strips, about the size of a dollar bill, but made of metal. The more valueable the metal the more it's worth, like copper wouldn't be as important as, say, a strip of gold.
