Theres actually people that would want to play TES5 without selling their souls for a computer to run the game in low settings.
Hahaha, touché, I'd sell my soul for it though.
I wouldnt...but then again I'm upgrading my PC in mass so it can be more powerfull than Zeus itself...This will be a good year for me PC and my travels around the world...not much I can say for reading, gaming and other stuff that I have given up.
Well if I had the money I'd upgrade mine, but, my money this year has to go on other things, namely a new bike and physio therapy, next year is the next PC overhaul, so more than likely I wouldn't have to. *sigh of relief*

Am I the only one who couldn't tell the difference between the jungle scenes in the video and Crysis on Cryengine 2?

Maybe it's just because of the low res video, and a lot of the models are the same, but still. The other locations looked awesome though.

Awesome, another hardware seller. Here is a preliminary computer spec to run the game:

CPU: Dual intel OctaCore i9
GPU: Quad nVidia Ultra GTX+ 395 GX2 or Dual Crossfire 5990 X4
RAM: 32 Gb quad channel DDR5
HD: 4x256Gb UltraFlash Solid state SATA-4 drives in RAID-0
Display: None, needs to be shunted straight into your neural cortex.
PSU: 1200PNCR (1200 MW Personal Nuclear Core Reactor, no cables needed)

Nice. Its times likes this that I wish it cost less then a million dollars to buy a license for an engine like that.

I can tell that Uranium is going to be in high demand with the PC gaming public this year.

Don't forget a PPU with 10GB of video memory. Must be plugged into a PCI-e x256 port.

With the tropical island scenes I didn't see much difference from CE2 (like others have said). Maybe with the exception of the physics with the tree leaves, but I'll have to go back and try that. Looks promising though. In some of the explosions the test computer even had a drop in fps, looks like it might need to be optimized a bit more.

I agree with bluesguyjon for the tropical scenes but when the you see the textures and everything in the city or castle, it looked amazing.

I'm not sure if you'll need to upgrade your computer that much, because Crytek has said they're no longer developing only for the pc that they're moving things to consoles as well.

Although this engine could be for the next generation of console. Ps4, or xbox 720?
Just to be safe I'll put my soul on ebay and see how much I get for it to run this.

Yeah man, think of the terrorism that could come with selling Uranium commercially. So in essense: Crytek will bring about the first nuclear terror attack. DAMN YOU CRYTEK!

Woooo cool graphics, now if only they could make a deep, thought-provoking game to go along with those cool graphics, they might be in business.

This is purely speculation and hearsay. The 1200PNCR is perfectly safe for consumer use and its un-tamperable engineering is good for several years of safe and consistent High Definition gaming.

If the previous steps forward graphically are any indication, you may have to do that for TES5.

EDIT:

That being said, getting a computer that can utilize the cry engine isn't that bad if you either know about hardware and utilize certain webmarkets and get good deals on components, or at least have a good friend who can do it for you.

Please no. I only have a limited budget for my new PC build next year. I'd like TES5 to actually run on it.
