I can't really tell a whole lot of difference between CryEngine 2 and 3. But maybe it was because I watched the video in low quality. Either way it looks awesome of course.
People, you don't need a top-end PC to run Crysis well or any other game well, if you want to run Crysis on HIGHEST in the HIGHEST resolution, then yeah you're going to need a beast of a computer. But a 9800GT can run Crysis on great settings, and thats classed as mid-range now that the GTX cards are out. Bearing in mind Crysis is the best looking game in history, you can play any other game (with the possible exception of bad ports) on highest settings on a 'good' computer. And you can run any game at console-quality graphics with an okay computer. PC gaming is only expensive if you go for the best of the best hardware!!
I played Crysis a year ago from start to finish on a 7600GS on low settings with physics on high. I enjoyed it immensely. That card costs about £20.
