"Holy crap, how could I have forgotten that?!"

So, in the spirit of putting off homework for as long as I possibly can I usually resort to two things: Facebook and YouTube. Both wastes of time, both usually never worth the effort.

Today was different.

In my link-to-link trek of the Tube I stumbled upon the above video. I vaguely remembered playing Crystal Shards when I was younger, so I figured this would be great. I vastly underestimated the power of dormant memories. Like a sledgehammer to the face, every single aspect of the game came flooding back to me all at once. That one clip, less than three minutes in length, made me remember my entire N64-childhood in an instant. Given that I'm a week from turning 20, feeling 10 again, even for a moment, was spectacular.

So here's my question: ever stumble onto something that made you remember a time in your past (gaming or in general) that you never thought you'd forget?

Back when halo wars had just came out, I wasn't very interested because an RTS on a console seemed like heresy to me. So I scoffed it off to a "never play/buy/rent" mode.

In the next month or so my friend buys it and he shows it to me. During it I heard a ripped troops voice command from the old red alert 2, and for a minute or two all I could hear or see was that game! (mostly Yuri)

I never forget.

...Also I don't think feeling 10 is spectacular.

But to be somewhat on topic, being reminded doesn't necessarily mean you forgot it. :p I get reminded a lot, I hardly ever forget.

Everytime I hear the captain planet theme song I get goosebumps...

Its weird because I remember absolutely nothing about the show itself.
