As a graphic designer, I can definitely appreciate how much Photoshop makes my world simpler. With the advent of CS5, it'll be even easier.

Long story short, Photoshop CS5 will have this new "Content Aware" fill which, when used, will automatically delete an object from an image and replace it with relevant pixels information for you. It's very impressive.

If the final product is capable of doing what this video shows, no one will ever be able to trust a photo again.

I wonder if there will be a rise in fake UFO pictures after this comes out...

Woah that is some impressive stuff right there - unless it's an early April Fools day prank from P'shop :p

The camera never lies? Not any more.

I don't trust photos since the first time I went to 4chan. But I agree it looks neat for people using this kind of tools for their work.

Excuse my ignorance, but that is?
GNU Image Manipulation Program
It's essentially like Photoshop, but it's free. It isn't as sleek or as robust, but it gets the job done.

I really must learn how to use that thing. My dad makes his living and keeps me fed and clothed by being a master with it, but I can barely make a layer in it.

Perhaps this version will be noob friendly.

Still though, that thing looks pretty amazing.
You never told me your dad did that! (While I was listening anyway)

I SHALL ASK HIM TO IMPROVE MY AVATAR!

Wow.

And I do mean WOW.

I don't do enough work with photos in Photoshop to warrant to warrant picking CS5 up, but that is really, REALLY impressive, I must say.
