To be honest, only about 10% of photoshop users will know how to use it/need it. Pretty sweet though, it'll be even harder to tell if a photo was shopped now.

The next step will be unblurring an image.

Though its probably an april fools joke :(

QFT. Show Joe Average this tool, and he can delete junk all day. Tell Joe Average to get the pic ready for production, then design an ad around it... and I forsee Papyrus and poor color correction, poor layout and image balance, and widows and/or orphans.

Anytime Adobe can shave off potentially hours off of a project, I'm happy.
Speaking of which... What an awful day.

I have to use this wordmark (provided by someone else) on all of our materials (for a major music festival). The wordmark, for lack of a better word, is utter shit. First of all, it's been enclosed in a box (!) with a piss poor gradient in the background, several font styles added differently to various parts (eg. one part is even italicized, while the rest of the words in the group are not; two parts of that group have drop shadows, one does not; some of it has been written on a curve, while some has not... it's a design nightmare...)

Unfortunately, my attempts to skirt around it (by either making it a less significant part of the overall design, altering it or ignoring its use completely) have been met with failure... they are married to this piece of design shit.

Ugh, I hear you. It's great when the customer (I assume it was them who provided the wordmark) likes to play "designer" too.
So now I have to find a way to fit it seamlessly into my designs... which means either lowering my own design standards for about 5 months OR finding a solution that is not yet within my grasp...

I spent most of the day trying to fit this on a brochure (cover only thankfully), on a web banner (that didn't go so well... my original design was SO much better than what it had to become) and on a flyer that will see 40,000 copies once printed... Bah! Sometimes Graphic Design is fun... and sometimes its the most grating job ever!

Yea, Graphic Design would be awesome except for all the people who don't listen to the trained designers they are paying for! Trust me, i feel your pain
