Ranger Night Owl who had remained silent during the previous discussion broke his silence upon the arrival of Marcus.

"Caesar getting paranoid now is he? Not every day do you run into a famous Centurion, you'll have to forgive me if I don't know the proper way to greet you, NCR policy dictates that my interactions with the Legion are mostly violent."

Night Owl was tense now, one Legion scout didn't bother the veteran ranger unduly but Marcus the Anvil Slayer, blatanty wearing a ranger duster, set Night Owl on eddge.

Alex was greeted in the lobby by a securitron who told him to proceed to the 6th floor. He got in the lift and wondered who his new partners are.

"I've seen you before you legion piece of shit. when you were traveling to Cottonwood cove a few weeks ago. I ambushed your unit poped a few of your guys and ran. Dont feel bad I cam back later looted and left my mark on the corpses"

"Count yourself lucky he didn't pursue you then, other than his famous battle with Anvil I've heard he hacked his Centurion to bits to take his place, maybe pointless rumours but I tend to belive most of the messed up shit I hear about the Legion these days."

In Night Owl's opinion, any man who could directly attack a crazed super mutant like Anvil and win was a skilled combatant.

Alex got out of the lift. He surveyed the room and looked at his new partners.
"Alex. Brotherhood of Steel. Hitman. Sniper and Recon, doesn't mean I can't hold my ass at close range either."

 

[CRAVE CASE 55]

"Ahhh nice to see another professional marksman in the squad. They call me dead eye, NCR First Recon. No I don't have a problem with the Brotherhood, I wasent at Helios so don't bother with that road."

"THE dead eye?" said Alex with a kind of reverance "I heard stories about you down in the bunker from the other scavs and scouts."

 

[CRAVE CASE 55]

"If thats what they call me. I hasve the most confirmed kills in NCR history, Ive won the Bears badge of bravery 3 times for going into enemy compounds and freeing troops."

 

[PixelKing]

"I heard killed a man by deflecting your bullet off his buddys machete and then shooting his buddy" said Alex "I myself have the highest BoS kill count and am in command of my own elite recon squad. We are named Scouts Fall because of a hill I killed my first man from.

 

[CRAVE CASE 55]

"No I fired and it hit the machete split in half and hit both."

he said with a quiet laugh

"No I'm just kidding... Nothing like that. I'm just a soldier that has realy good eyesight and accurecy. And I'm realy good at my job."

"You can only snipe until your gun breaks or you run out of ammo. What you really need to be able to do is scout." said Alex.

"Nice, must be pretty protective. One of our boys came across a set of that on a run to Vault 3, he couldn't firgure out how to put it on, so he left it."

He said as he pulls out a Marksman carbine offering it to him.

"I appreciate the offer, but I'm more of a berserker..." Then a look of realization pops over his face "...but we're going against Deathclaws... Sure, I'll do it."
He takes the carbine and slaps a Khan logo on it.

"Haha I was about to say that. If you want to go toe to toe with a Death claw be my guest... But I see you made a smart choice. Maybe your not just a jet hoarding khan."

He said with another quiet laugh

Knox chuckles and gives a shudder at the Jet reference.
"Sheit...I;ve tried Jet before...I woke up face down in a Brahmin pen in nothing but my underwear... Never doing it again."

"Knox... Youve changed my outlook about things. I want you to know... I'm sorry about my doing in Bitter springs... Foir killing your friends and family. And if you can find it in your heart to forgive me I would like to teach you the art of the Sniper"


He said as he extended his arm for a hand shake.

Knox looks at the hand and back up to Dead Eye. He has a look of surprise and approval on his face and taks the hand in a shake
"Thanks, I appreciate it. Not all of us Khans hate the NCR, in fact more than a few of us don't mind it."
