You guys are so stupid.

Everyone knows its Sony's fault completely, and everyone knows that the majority of systems are 100% full-proof, so that as soon as one is broken into it was clearly being protected by a mouse-trap and some lubed up floor tiles.

OT: Well can they hurry up? I really can't be arsed to call my bank, and I just got done memorising every single digit related to my debit card, just so that I don't have to search for my wallet every time I buy something online.
The sarcasm is strong with this post.

I can tell you're a friendly person. Will you be my friend?

So let me get this straight... Someone hacked PSN and that makes it 100% Sony's fault? That makes perfect sense. Don't blame the hacker. Blame the victim. I bet it was the fault of all the people who gave their information to Sony that they got hacked, too. What a bunch of dumb-asses! Idiots! Seriously, if they weren't wearing those slutty clothes. Am I right?

Edit: Sarcasm and the interwebz. A dangerous mix.

Sony starts bitching about how they got hacked. FBI is trying to find the hackers.

Hey, protip, Many other things have been hacked without these guys caring. Why should they start now? It's also a commonly known fact that Hackers are like weeds - You can get rid of them only for two more to come back. Or something like that.

What?

How is this Sony's fault they got broken into? At most it should be partially their fault for not having an advanced enough system, but without hackers, there would be no break in. Also there is no such thing as 100% fool-proof.

Please explain.

How is it Sony's fault that they got hacked? Sure, things could have been more secure - but that is always the case. It's not Sony's fault. How about we agree its your fault for trusting Sony with the information? Or maybe it's a game developer's fault for making Sony popular enough to get hacked. Maybe it's America's fault, for helping to propel the popularity of the internet to the point of online gaming.
You guys did realize he was being sarcastic?

I know right? I mean Sony aren't going to waste valuable resources guarding something that might cost them billions if it went down? Why should they need to? Sony have never cared about security in the past and I for one am glad to see them getting their just desserts.

And of course, I want the actual villains of this piece to be brought to justice, so the gaming world can focus their entirley righteous anger onto the people who went to quite some lengths to actually earn the entirely righteous anger. And for once I am in partial agreement with Anonymous supporters. If Anonymous really cares, they should at least help.

It's not just that the hackers should be caught anymore, the hackers, one way or the other, need to be caught.

I believe Qriocity is Sony's music/ebook/video on demand service but I could be mistaken.

Yes! The more people hunting these ass holes, the better. Someone will find you, hackers. And when that someone does, EVERYONE will know who you are. From the angry forum writers, to the vengeful hackers. From the government agencies who can put you away for life, to the crazy people who will send death threats--and perhaps even fulfill said threats. It's only a matter of time until your as you know it ends. Whether it actually ends forever is a matter of who finds you first.

Nope. We really need sarcasm text.
I hope the new version is clearer, although since you know its supposed to be sarcastic now, will you ever be able to view it as otherwise? Seems we've stumbled on one of life's great unanswered questions.

In my defense, sarcasm does not translate well via text. Something about a lack of tone. And this is why "/sarcasm" is your friend.

Sorry, didn't mean to jump on you. Especially if you were being sarcastic. Honestly, the thought crossed my mind, but a lot of people actually do seem to think that way. I'm kinda fed up with it.

Yay! Some encouraging news! Still, that doesn't stop the credit card numbers thay may or may not have been sold from being further distributed. But that they have even been stolen at all is not a certainty. Yet.
