I wonder if she expected the backlash or not. You know, this incident has a lot in common with reactions to controversial art. You've got a few people who "get it," and a bunch of 'tards who go berserk and want it gone. I'm not saying it's controversial art though, or even art at all (haven't seen it, and frankly, I'd sooner label any nude mod as "moar rule 34" than artistic integrity). But its reception shows some parallels to the real deal. Then again, it's the same reaction to any number of sexual deviances. But on the other hand...

I actually used a "better bodies" mod for Morrowind that made all men and women anatomically correct, this was just a side effect, the main effect was smoother better textured skin. But I felt it made the game better in some places.

The dancing bar was more seedy, but more importantly when you got attacked by a "naked beserker" on Solstheim they actually were naked, it was far more scary then just a guy in underwear, this crazed nord completely naked armed with an axe. Or worshipper of Dagoth Ur gathered in one of their unholy shines.

why on earth would someone even care? its not like the mods are gunna download themselves, install on your game and give you the gay bug. and puting that aside, whats so 'gay' about it? so a mod gives men peckers so what?

Well to refine my point more I would have to agree. The way you implement it (I can't think of a better word) would give it the artistic merit, buy yes just sticking a penis, and some breasts is uncalled for.

the FIRST thing both an artist and a modder will learn is to deal with criticism, no matter how bad. if she quit SOLELY because of this, i would be surprised.

I suggest anyone who knows how to mod creates the same level of anatomical realism and release it if fourty or fifty of the modders on this community swamped the sites where stuffs available it would prove a point.

What can you expect? When humans came to existence, they had to adapt to their varied surroundings to survive, and the internet is no different. Yes, we all get practice ignoring annoying cunts in elementary school, but the internet is young, and we haven't collectively grown to not be annoyed by people behind a keyboard. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but this doesn't sound like homophobia; more like (?)xenophallaphonia(/) (I.E. Fear of other people's dicks) and kids have always suffered from that due to the sheer 'weight' of public opinion placed on this. I mean, a girl having small (or huge) chest may suffer harassment, but it's not as interlaced into both genders conciousness as having a mini-wiener.

Perhaps focussing some effort onto removing the stigma from not being a "foot long iron rod" might alleviate some of this hatred.

I liked her mods (don't you dare call me gay!) and thought that it was original that someone decided to create a mod that actually mods the male body, as opposed to the million billion mods that add ridiculously over sized breast or Japanese school girl uniforms, or anime crap! I mean just go and visit tesnexus.com and take a look at the top pics. I swear to GOD they are all pictures of nude women! Are the people who visit that site really so fucking desperate that they won't even give any attention to anything they can't jerk off to?
