Ok, so we've had baby, guns and having problems in the shower talks.

So, what's your take on Homosexuality and homosexuals, Escapists?

I am for homosexuality, I'm as straight as can be but I have no problem with those who are attracted to the same sex and would like to commit to eachother. I used to have a very close friend before our paths took different directions who was gay and it never bothered me, obviously.
Here in the UK, you can, if you're gay, have Civil Partnerships but can't actually get married, but it's still a legal partnerhip.

If your are against it ("homophobic") why?
If not, are you disgusted with some people's behaviour towards gay men and women?

I've got no problem with homosexuals. It's up to the individual how they want to live their lives, or how the feel they need to live their lives. I used to work with a homosexual last year, he was a really nice guy.

I have no problem with them whatsoever, I know a few girls who will think, 'She's a lesbian? oooh, I better stay away from her, she probably fancies me.'
The really homophobic and defensive men usually have a few things to hide too.

I was going to be a bridesmaid for a lesbian couple when they got married, but they broke up. It's probably me being a bad omen. D<

I think you'll find that most people here are fine with homosexuals (and quite a few are bisexual or homosexual themselves). So yeah, this will probably turn out very one-sided (in case you didn't guess, I have no problem with homosexuals, bisexuals, asexuals, heteroexuals (etc?)).

Being opposed to another person's sexuality on a moral ground is never a tenable position. You can hate gay sex all you want, that's fine, but you're way out of line if you ever think that your personal opinions should have any bearing on how someone else chooses to live their life.

I used to have a big problem with it, but I've since mellowed out. Now it doesn't bother me. It's gotten to the point I can talk to homosexuals about their lifestyle and be totally okay with it. Hell some of my good friends at school are gay (and my cousin is too...his boyfriend is pretty awesome), and my favorite person on the Escapist is bi.

Let it be known that I hate the WBC with every fibre of my being.

Unless they live in a swamp or is in denial, no one in modern society has anything against homosexuals, or very few anyway. Gay-jokes still get tossed around like snowballs in winter, and I think people should stop that and indeed any jokes based on soemthing that a person CANNOT change themselves. If it's cause a person smells funny, why not? They can fix that. They can't, however, fix their curly hair or love for hairy bums.

Me? I'm mostly attracted to women, but since I'm dating a guy that means I'm bi-sexual then =3.

Against homosexuality? No, I believe under the right circumstances anyone can fall in love with anyone.
Sadly, being religious, I am surrounded by people that are totally against it, although even some of the unreligious people I meet are also against it.
As for being disgusted with people's disgust towards gays, very little. I more feel sorry for them that they are so ignorant. Oh well, time changes everything am I right.

It doesn't bother me. I must admit that I was a bit of a homophobe during my teen years. But I've outgrown that stage. Everyone could be cool in my book unless their behaviour indicates me otherwise, but that's got nothing to do with color or sexual orientation.

I'm a heterosexual male who will never truly grasp how it feels to be attracted to members of the same sex. Having said that: I know that love for another knows not of gender. I've also been lucky to have grown up around a lot of homosexual individuals, and can proudly name a few as 'friends' -- love is love, and if it becomes sexual who has the right to say 'no' to that couple?

Let me see, Homosexuality is perfectly fine with me if it's not shoved in my face.
Now if that offends anyone I feel the same about heterosexuality, I don't know why it just makes me feel awkward to see people sucking face.

Yeah, I'm going to agree with this. Although, jokes aren't always meant to offend. I tell a few 'offensive' jokes just for a laugh and everyone laughs and doesn't care. It's always annoying when someone comes in claiming they've been offended.

Okay. Sexuality is like religion. I don't give two shakes of a rats arse about your religion or sexuality. Practice and love however you like, just don't be blatant about it and shove it in my face. I'm cool with gays, but marde gras is annoying.

If your cool, we are cool.
If your a dick about it, then stay away. (No pun intended)

I don't care who people have sex with, as long as all participants agree. I'm all for gay marriage, or at least giving people in a same-sex civil union, the same rights as married folks. If a priest don't want to bless a civil union I see no problem, but if a church says civil unions can't be blessed in their church I do see a problem.
