which do you value the least, your girl/boy friend, your mum, dad, best friend, third best friend, or best friend of the opposite sex that isn't your best friend or girl/boyfriend?

*edit* oh and by the way, this is a rephrased version of my controversial question, just to avoid confusion.

Spoiled for choice, arn't we?

Not the preggers lady, not the parents... Probably one of the friends/GF(if applicable at that time), but I wouldn't be able to chose easily, and I'd have to know who they are.

What. the. fuck.

This isn't even a remotely realistic scenario. I guess I would say the pregnant lady, only because I don't know her.

Well, I couldn't murder anyone innocent and live with myself, so I guess I'd turn the gun on the dude who brought me here. I figure if we're going to die in a hail of gunfire anyway, I can die knowing he won't live to subject other people to this twisted game.
Also, since he can't give the order to the shotgun guys there's a possibility we'll all walk out alive - a slim chance, since they'll probably just shoot anyway, but it's there.

Hardly appropriate. Bye bye.

OT: I'm just going to feed you a little. Probably the pregnant lady, seeing as the baby inside of her hasn't had a chance to experience life yet.

My evil twin, since he is a family member, and evil, he is obviously going to be the one behind it all and try trick me to shoot someone I actually like.

Either that or my gf....Yeah, I am pretty bad in relationships.

I would ask everyone about their life goals and ambisions. Then question about how they lead to be in that situation and what great things they have done in the past, then decide who to shoot based on peoples answers.

Someone captures your friends and family and you, and he brings you into a room. You open your eyes and you are holding an m9 surpressed, with one bullet in it. Lined up against the wall tied to chairs and gagged are your mother, your father, your best friend, your boy/girlfriend (if applicable), your third closest friend and pregant lady that you don't know. You can only shoot one, and if you shoot yourself then your captor will shoot and all of them. If you do anything but headshot them then they will also do the same thing. There are 20 men the the room holding loaded shotguns, ready to kill everyone in the room at a moment's notice. Who do you shoot?
whats with all these "one shot. one kill. or else" threads these days?
lets stop them now, eh? i know threads are supposed to get people to think, but theres a difference between that and controversy

eh, just questions I love to ask my mates in boring science lessons, fill in the time, keep the conversation going.
Heh, I'm not criticizing you.
They are... interesting, to say the least.

Following a moral stance, as per Kermi - but if I were feeling ridiculously charitable at the time I would decide not to participate at all. In a situation like this, you can only lose, and you demean yourself further by taking a willing role in it even if threated with shotgun-death. Besides, who would 'really' want to give the satisfaction to any of those guys? Not me.

This is perhaps not what the OP wanted when he made this thread, or maybe it was to see how Forum reacted to a life-death situation, but if it was simply a matter of 'choice' between all relevant and close family members then it might have been better without the whole life-death thing.
