Kayne and Lynch. The first game wasn't honestly anywhere as near as bad as people claimed it to be. I just think the game got demonized because they fired a reviewer (who was never very good, honestly) shortly after he panned it.

Deadly Premonition, although I kind of think the game is some sort of satire, which makes it awesome.

I personally found the first two Sonic Riders games to be enjoyable. Of course, they weren't amazingly good, but it's not like they actively offended anybody (besides Sonic fans, who are almost impossible to please, the mongering idiots).

Honestly... Eat Lead

I KNOW it's a pretty pitiful game, but I honestly had some fun with it. I enjoyed the humor, and I didn't think that the combat was THAT bad, even if the AI never figured out that when you're in cover, you should probably tuck your head in.

Linear? Yeah. Stupid? Pretty much. Bad? Probably. But I'll be damned if I didn't have a good time.

...that being said, I'd probably never play the game again, now that I've already heard all the jokes.

Gundam Crossfire is pretty good if you like Gundam games, and use alternate control options. The default controls are very bad.

I'm not sure if this game is considered "horrible" but DarkStar One on the 360. It's a fun space shooter/trading/political/Bounty Hunting/Smuggling game.
Well I got it on PC and it seemed good to me. Extremely similar to Freelancer, but basically enjoyable. It's a bit obscure, given that hardly anyone plays space games, but I don't think it was ever considered horrible.

I'd say Mirror's Edge. I also bought it for £5 and rather enjoyed it. I also enjoyed Settlers 3 and 4, which most fans/reviewers did not. And Supreme Commander 2.

Why would you be ripped on for that? It's generally considered a good game.
Oh, well, I've posted a few replies about JC2 before and they got ripped on, so, just wasn't sure. xD

Starfox Assault.

Singleplayer was epic.

Plus some of the best multiplayer wackiness on the Gamecube besides Smash Bros.

Reminds me...

I used to like playing Twisted Metal, Lego Rock Raiders, Ultima Online, and Chocobo's dungeon when I was younger...

I also liked Shenmue, Onimusha as well as Final Fantasy:Crystal Chronicles.

And all of those 3d sonic games and Monkeyball :-(

Harvest Moon was cute.

Phantasy Star Universe -Story Mode- Christ! The Gameplay was slow and repetative, the main character Ethan just overreacted on everything and some of the English subtitles just didnt make sense!

But.. The City designs were beautiful, Combat style was entertaining and the Bosses were Big! All I can say is that the game is pleasent on the eyes and easy on the brain.

Peace xD

Splatterhouse was fun, I felt kinda zen playing it, and the later 4th walls felt like they were speaking to me, I liked it

I also really liked Singularity, the story I loved, the time manipulation bubble was fun and while it felt like it was ripping off Bioshock/Half Life 2, I still enjoyed it a lot

Well, since a lot of people think Mirror's Edge is bad, I'll say that.

...Wait, what am I saying? Mirror's Edge was a great game! Sure, it wasn't very long, and the cutscenes needed different animation, but the gameplay, graphics, music, and environment were amazing!

I can't help but feel that a lot of people just felt irked that they paid full price for such a short game. Let's face it, if Portal had been sold as a separated game at full price, it wouldn't be quite so universally acclaimed. (Not that I have anything against Portal; it's fucking amazing)

Of course, this is all opinion, but I just can't see why so many people don't like Mirror's Edge.

Mirrors Edge and Alone in the Dark 5. Not sure why people dislike those games other than they didn't want to take the time to learn the controls.

The Godfather: Blackhand Edition on the Wii. It was ugly, repetetive, the motion controls only worked when they felt like it and the AI was retarded. My favourite example being being chased across the city by a rival family to pay a Policeman to get win the family feud. I payed the bribe and the rival gangster that had been hot on my heels merely seconds ago turned around and walked away like absolutely nothing had happened.

But I loved this game simply because it let me walk into a shop and demand that the shop keeper pay me protection money or bad things would happen, it was very very satisfying to find a persons weakness and watch the money they would pay you shoot up.
