Holloween is coming up, and I'm looking for a scary game to play for the season. I've got Silent Hill 2 already, so that's out of the question. Any ideas?

Let me be the first to recommend F.E.A.R. and the Left 4 Dead series. Your mileage may vary on how scary they actually are, but I'd say they're perfect for Halloween.

Depends on your preferences for "horror" games. If you like action/horror games, I would recommend Dead Space. It is more an action game in a horror setting, but I loved it.
For true horror, I would go with something older in the "Silent Hill 2" genra and say Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly.
Condemnded is also a good one, also in the actiony genra, but some epic scare moments.
I was also a big fan of Alan Wake. A 3rd person action/horror game that I really enjoyed. Great story and good gameplay. Nice pacing and atmosphere. Combat gets repetitive, but it is fun repetative, and let's face it, what game isn't at least a little repetative.

I'll just mention Metro 2033, since apparently everything else I would have mentioned has already been mentioned.
Mutants in Moscow's metro. Really atmospheric and scary, even if not advertised as a horror game too much. You don't have too much ammo, enemies kill you fast and there is a lot of them. Just keep the game language on Russian and you have a pretty brilliant game.
