Horror video game dissertation help

Hello Ladies and Gents
I'm currently doing my dissertation on horror video games and would like your help. All that I ask you do is to fill in this questionnaire:-

A couple suggestions, though...

1. Since you seem to be gauging viewer response to the actually scary parts of the videos, it's useful to start the video at the right time. Dead Space 2's clip is a good example: The actually scary part was in the last third of the video. You could have set it to the 8 minute mark by adding "&t=720" to the URL (720 being the number of seconds in eight minutes).

2. The list of "Which horror games have you played?" is underwhelming. No Penumbra on there? Why not include Fatal Frame one or three? How about System Shock? Etc.

Other than that, good luck on your dissertation.

I don't want to sit through a lot of YouTube vids just to fill out a survey for someone, who as tippy2k2 says, may not even stick around. Not to say you won't, but your first post being "Do this thing for me." doesn't help. If it was just a survey with a few questions, fine, but there seems to be a lot to watch with it. If you mean a specific part of the video, you may want to point that out in the survey.

Okay... Filled it out.

I was a bit dubious of the number of youtube videos (Not only that but they're all like 10-30 minutes long... Which is a long time to spend for a questionnaire)

But since I have very little to do, and often do quizzes/questionnaires I did in fact complete it.

Filled it in. I didn't watch any of the youtube vids all the way through, I just watched enough to remind myself of the relevant section in each game. I've got a good memory for horror stuff though, so it should all be valid input. Good luck with your dissertation.
