edit: Ok, I get it, sales =/= quality. But for every person who says MW2 sucks, there are 5 who are playing it and think its the best thing ever.

I agree it doesn't deserve the title of "King of fps", but there are a lot more people who think otherwise.

That doesn't make it the King of FPS. It makes it an overhyped, unbalanced pile of horse manure. I was one of the ones super hyped about it. MW2 let me down in every way imaginable. Let me down so much in fact that I stopped playing it and went back to CoD4.

I'm mildly interested in BC2, but it'd have to be a hell of a game to even remotely compare to CoD4 for me.

Well considering the success of Modern Warfare 1, which was hardly hyped at all (as far as i remember) The only way CODMOD2 would have made people happy is if the prestige edition came with prostitutes, and the game itself was so popular that nobody ever played anything else again

It's Battlefield. Apart from the stupid console releases (Modern Combat, Bad Company) and Heroes, this is the best FPS series out there. Of course this game will be good.

That aside, no this will not be the next MW2 hopefully. Unless they manage to truly mess it up, it won't be a game of sprinting around a 50x50 meter room in a clusterfuck of knives, shotguns, and martyrdom.

Even then, that doesn't make it the "King"...it has unbalanced gameplay, and it's barely even a first person shooter, your goal is to get 11 kills, get into a helicopter and spawn rape the enemies, then nuke them to win the game! Seriously that's the only point to the game!

If anything, best FPS has to go to a Valve title...at least they know how to treat their players.
