Dear people of the world,

Please stop saying that things should end or die or stop or that sequels shouldn't be made or that a new thing has ruined the series/genre/whatever because it makes NO SENSE. If you believe that house (Or anything else) should have ended after two series stop watching after two series. Noone is forces you to watch or even acknoledge the exsistance of any of the other series of house.

The reason companies continue to make anything is because people watch them, so let other people enjoy whatever it is that you think has gone on too long and be happy that you enjoyed the first two seasons and then it went down hill so you stopped but you can accept that other people might still find it enjoyable.

Your sincersly,

Me.

House MD should have ended 2-3 years ago. Either he should have kicked his habit and slowly started building a life, without all the Huddy bullshit, or he should have OD'd in the scene (you know the one).
Which scene? I stopped watching House M.D. a while ago, but it feels like I have missed something.

OT: Yeah, it should end. I liked the show when they focused on the relationship between Wilson and House, I don't give a shit about all the other doctors relationship problems.

Indeed. They should cease production on House M.D., and begin production on House P.R.

Yes, I know I've posted this before. No, I don't care. It's so awesome, I feel I must spread the joy it brings to my fellow forum-goers.
So do they cry "It's vicdin time?"

Or does Greg switch to Morphine, and the old saying is "close enough?"

For the record, this was new ti me, so it wasn't a total waste. Unless my amusement is a waste.

It probably is.

The next (and hopefully last)season of house should be real time "24" style and should involve the aftermath of a nuke being dropped on NYC.

The end of season 5. House realizes he has been hallucinating on a Vicodin high but Cuddy shows up and rescues him from just taking more that evening, takes him to Wilson who takes him to the psychiatric hospital.

So basically I would have ended the show after season 5, or maybe 5 episodes of season 6. Of course, I would have cut some earlier filler, so my perfect version would probably be 4.5-5 seasons tops.

I realise this is a website about gaming but what the hell...

Does anyone else agree that House MD should end?

Its one of my most hated things about American television that there is no arc or defined progress to a series. it gives a shows a meandering quality which makes character development in certain episodes pointless because they just go back to square one.

It feels to me like they should end House and stop milking the teats of the cow before they become black stalactites.....

what do you guys think? is there mileage left in the show?
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.

House MD is my favorite show ever but even I know when enough is enough.

House needs to end, but they need to do it right, maybe it should end on a case that actually is Lupus.

Yeah ive been thinking this exact thing. Now all they do is just go HES ON DRUGS! no wait...hes off drugs...HES WITH CUDDY AND HES OFF DRUGS! ooo Now hes doing drugs behind peoples BACKS! and now he doesnt care who sees him doing drugs...

It's just been very drawn out. Thats what I like about Anime's. They try to not overstay their welcome.

They already had a lupus case, back in November of '07.
Do not ask me how I know that.

allright house is not nearly what it used to be and it lost it's original flair.
the problem with the idea that house should end because we need stories with better arcs doesn't work for a very simple reason. because whille series with arcs and actually changing status quos are far better house was not designed to be this way from the start. unless they start an arc to end the show(witch would be perfect but then they could run it for quite a bit more with said arc)
and even then house is one of the shows that dodges the bullet of never changing. it does change. status quo does change. sure they cave in and go back once in a whille but god damn it the show has changed multiple times.
okay the show lost the original point you say? i say you missed the originalk point. sure it's been dumbed down for mass consuption since then but the show has allways been about the relationship between people. in particular the doctors. it's just gottena bit more lovey dovey since the start.

"A meandering feel"...Like CSI NCIS and basically every single other "figure out the mystery by the end of the episode" tv show on right now. Go watch the wire if you want quality instead of bitching about shows you don't like.

No, it can't be cancelled for the simple reason is that then I'll only have Futurama to watch now that they cancelled Lie To Me.

Although I do agree that the past seasons were better than these newer ones, but they are by no means terrible, especially when you compare it to the rest of the stuff that's on TV nowadays.

It really should end. The end of last season totally sucked. All that character growth? Fuck that shit, time for things to get unnecessarily brutal.

I think Hugh Laurie needs to come back to England and get together with Rowan Atkinson for another series of Blackadder.

Blackadder goes to the retirement home (they are knocking on a bit now).

Or more Jeeves and Wooster or i'd settle for more A Bit of Fry and Laurie.

Anything but this god awful reality TV they keep putting on.

As for House .... never watched it, not a fan of medical drama's.

I really hope that they kind of reboot it by him running off to Peru or somewhere and taking up risky medicine there. In a third world country he could try all the stuff Cuddy never let him! :)

Yes, it absolutely should end. The writing and story line this past season has been, well lame as hell. I swear the writers got real lazy.

Lisa Edelstein (Cuddy) quit... So um.. there goes that dynamic and entire element of the entire series.

Supposedly House will be in prison when the series starts up. There's some potential there if they leave him there but if they do the whole getting out of prison bit I think I might be sick. Unless God came down and vouched for him I don't think they're going to let him practice medicine once he gets out. Best bet, silly shank related medical cases.
