So what songs make you want to sing along or dance or cry or laugh or relax or maybe even break something.
I'm not really the dancing type, but The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are great for it.
Am I man enough to admit I cry? Sure why not.
Any song where Snuffaluffagus gets rhymed with Australopithecus is just awesome in my book.
Relaxing is easy, Tool all the way.
And for breaking things I gotta go with Winds of Plague

So anyone else want share? Feel free to add any other "feels" I missed or omit the ones that don't apply.

First, she said we were to keep clear of the Sirens, who sit and sing most beautifully in a field of flowers...
So long as no one else did

Brings me down every time, this song.

I wish I could post some happy songs that always make me happy, but there aren't any songs that can do that (damn brain chemistry). But there are some songs that either comfort me or make me cry depending on my mood when I hear them.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure reminded me how much I love this song. That bass, man! I like to listen to this one in the car.

Happy music? Nah, I'm fresh out of that.

Music that will make you cry like a baby?

I'm a horrible person for posting that. I'm sorry in advance for your non-stop sobbing.

Music that I can't help singing along to? Uh...well...there's Seikima II in general

Then when it comes to nostalgia, feels, etc...well, there's that one youtuber who I have a crush on to the point that I worry about my sanity...Gods help me but I really like her singing voice.

(Music starts at about 1:20)

...

I'm going to hastily go back to listening to Seikima II and debating on whether or not to open up about my mind being stupid to friends while also mentioning how much I really liked the original cast recording of Phantom of the Opera. I also really liked Jekyll & Hyde, bits of Love Never Dies, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog...I hear there's a Nosferatu and, Dracula musical but I don't recall having ever listened to those. I liked Sweeny Todd but I've never heard the original cast recording of it.

When it comes to gaming soundtracks, Final Fantasy IX is my all time favorite. Melodies of Life is great but Behind the Door (played at the end of the game) always has a tear or two leaking from my face towards the end.

EDIT EDIT!

I forgot entirely about Voltaire...please don't crucify me, just enjoy some good old, ookey-spooky times!

Music I'm listening to right now?
And here's some random songs that I will listen to for multiple things.

Edit: Here's a feels song, I think.

I get lots of feels from progressive rock's epics. Also, from "Nights In White Satin", when listening to the entirety of Days of
Future Passed
and it makes a beautiful ending.

Try some if you have the time:

Jams that have I've been feeling recently. Haven't been into "feels" music recently but I mean these songs make me feel super happy so I guess that counts. "Pirate" in particular is freakin' sweet and 'needs to be cranked to 11'.

What music gives me the feels? Way too many to list. I'll settle for a random dart throw over the shoulder.

Tom Waits in unique in his ability to "give me the feels" as you say. These two in particular.

Anything by Lit, because it reminds me of when I was young, and shirts with flames on were cool. Also, they are the band for which the phrase 'big guitar' was invented (not really).
Are you, in fact, your own worst enemy?

OT: I've found that Thrice tends to have a song for all occasions. Particularly the Alchemy Index albums.

For the heavies:

For relaxed contemplation:

For Feels[sup]TM[/sup]:

For good ol' acoustic rock:

For just damn good songwriting:

And for Feels[sup]TM[/sup] again:

Of course, my music library has almost 3500 songs in it, so I could honestly spend a lot of time combing through it for this thread...
