I've been waiting such a long time to post this beauty on here. Not only is it upbeat and catchy, but it's also, y'know, good. A rare combination.

This thread's gone too long without posting the obvious:

And this one just never really fails to brighten my mood.

Pretty much every track in the "walking around school/town" section of the Persona 4 soundtrack.

I know this is a combat theme but if I sing it every single time it plays whether i'm playing as or am against Yu it has to count. Though I always sing the chorus of the original Reach Out to the Truth as well... In every single random battle, it's hype as fuck.

Well, be forewarned, the music I've been really into recently is from Smash Bros. 3DS. I couldn't help it, it was so enticing to look up what songs would appear in the game! So if you don't want it spoiled, don't click the spoiler tags!

Have fun! :D

First, I would like to tell everyone that's posted so far: you are awesome and so are the songs you've shared. But now...

It's really unfortunate I listen to mostly ska, the songs sound so upbeat, but, if you care about lyrics...they're usually counter productive to making someone happy. The OP in a conversation put it best when describing one of the songs "cheerfully depressing"[footnote] or was it depressingly cheerful? [/footnote] Exceptions exist though.

I'll probably add more once I come across it.

It gets a little heavy at times, but for the most part it's uplifting and fast-paced. The trumpet and flute solos are just... so good.

Well, time to move your feet...
...feel those heartbeats...
...say "Hey Ya"...
...one more time...
...while remembering the golden age...
...after the milk crisis...
...where that one person yelled out "Give it all you've got!"...
...and other good things...
...that brought the dawn of the beat...
...the whistle low...
...and the sanctuary ship...
...which meant everypony's bangin'...
...to the showdown of "Night Trap vs Laffy Taffy"...
...through the black and yellow sketch...
...where I'll libera myself from hell...
...and burn my dread...
...while she shines...
...to the color of tempo...
...because of our tiny anthem...
...that alerted the voodoo people...
...to call on me...
...to ride le disko...
...so that they'll get the message...
That is all...

Good night and good luck...

The lyrics might not be particularly happy but lately this makes me happy.

And I utterly adore this song...

I'm sure most of you know the original for this one...
TF2 has a great soundtrack. Too bad its multipayer focus means you don't get to hear it often...
Hard to beat swing and big band music. Heck, it can even get a changeling's toe a-tappin'!
Yes, Odo's just pretending to play
Probably meant to be tongue-in-cheek like most Randy Newman songs, but it perks me up regardless:
Ice cream, hugs and beer? Sounds good to me!

Torche are great! They take doom and sludge and mix it with upbeat melodies and lyrics. It's fucking excellent, given how gloomy (what do you really expect from doom though?) a lot of their peers are it's a nice change and proves that happy, cheery music can still be heavy as hell.
