My brother just got back from the Soundwave Festival in Adelaide, and he got a photo with Hayley Williams, from Paramore. Mind you, he's nineteen and into stuff like AFI and Alexisisonfire, and was in an absolute frenzy.

How would you react if you met her, or someone that you really wanted to meet?

Also, this isn't BS, he showed me the photo to prove it.

If I met her, I'd call out the hounds. Stupid embarassment to music.

Someone I wanted to meet? Make conversation, if they're a dick tell them to go away.

I don't really want to meet famous people. I do too much of that already, far more than I want to. If I met her I probably wouldn't say anything unless I had some sort of business that meant I really had to say something to her. Even if it was someone whose music I liked I wouldn't say anything unless I had a specific reason to talk to them unrelated to my like of their music. So what if I like someone's music, doesn't mean I have anything to say to them in particular. It's just a person who wrote a song, just like any other person really, except that they wrote a song. Sometimes it's not good to get close to your idols anyway.

i´d most likely slap the girl from Paramore for using their pretty good music in the worst movie series ever.

i would however, scream in joy if i ever met Chuck Norris. i would quite literally lick his boots.

Not gonna happen, he'd roundhouse kick your ass, as the only thing worthy of licking his boots is himself.

If I met Hayley Williams, the photo of us would be awkward as I'd have to stand in a weird position to hide the boner I would almost certainly have.

I've met a few of my other "heroes", I shook Ridley Scotts hand once, ran into Noel Gallagher outside a hotel and had a talk on how shit the Manchester taxi services are, also had a talk with Prince Harry once about the rigors of sandhurst training at a sort if open day there. He's not really a hero but I threw it in for good measure anyway.

I dunno. I'd like to meet comedic legends. I'm not fussed about my music icons.

Ah I missed out on Soundwave this year. Would of been good to see Trivium there, my friends told me they waited near the front for an hour or two and were at the very front at the gate for like the whole show.

OT: Despite not being a fan of Paramore, I wouldn't just shun them away if I met them. I would probably try get a photo with them like your brother did, or their autograph, or both.

I'd like to meet Charlie Brooker, and have him teach me how to insult people.

Ultimate privilege.

If I met the Paramore vocalist at a concert, it's probably go like this:

Me: *Noticing her tag thing* Ah, cool pass thing, you with one of the bands or something?

And I would do so in complete ignorance of who she was, kinda like my friend did when we went to see PowerQuest and he asked that question to their keyboardist. The former DragonForce keyboardist and the current for the band we're there to see and he asked who he was. You don't need to share my music taste to admit that that's pretty funny.

If I met Kai Hansen or Dan Zimmerman, I'd probably fall to my knees and start crying.

I don't know how attractive she can be when you could easily put a credit card in between her front teeth. I also don't really like their music, maybe that's because I'm not a 14 year old girl.

Made me think of my friend who is soooo excited that Blink182 are back. I swear everyone got over them when they hit 16.

I guess I'd freak a bit if I met Bruce Willis.

If I were to meet Hayley Williams, I'd probably jizz in my pants and be unable to speak.

I met Peter Brock, a man I've idolised since before I can remember, in 2005, at the car show at the end of Targa Tasmania, spoke with him a bit and got a poster signed by him which I currently have framed on my wall.
He was a legend, still sorely missed.
