How badly have you ever been physically hurt?

I got hysterical pregnancy once.

But seriously, the only thing that springs to mind right now is when I got leg cramp the other day. Boy that was excrutiating.

Me? uhm .. I must say what happened right now. I kicked the fence (It was a couple of wooden boards sitting up straight) with full force. And I almost broke my foot. That was painful .. Damn. But there's wors in this thread, so I'll shut up now =P

Probably having a splinter jammed about 3/4 cm under my fingernail, then having to sit there without painkillers while they went in with tweezers and pulled it out.

On the first time, they definitely pulled something out, but it wasn't the splinter.

When my appendix was removed. Apparently the operation went dodgy due to it rupturing.
Either way the next day or so after the morphine went away the nurse forgot my pain meds, that hurt.

Weirdest injury though was that a car ran my foot over while doing 30. It was so bizarre and unexpected i couldn't quite register it.
Wasn't until the next morning it began to hurt...

Worst injury, was my knee dislocating so badly I had to have surgery on it--five weeks in a hospital, plus a year of rehab.

Most painful thing? The first knee surgery, when they did anthroscopic to see if I needed the big surgery. It hurt the most because they didn't give me a nice epidural like they did for the second surgery. I woke up in so much pain I actually went into shock.

The evil rehab machine came close, though.
