Why the hell does the english option have a CANADIAN flag next to it?!
Bioware is Canadian. Based out of Edmonton.

Everyone seems to be having fun with their personal nightmare scenarios, so I'll try and be truly melancholic and forsee how the game most likely could be screwed up on the actual disc.

- Make aggressively tedious side objectives mandatory towards story completion, i.e. mineral scan X number of planets for narrative-necessary ship update

- Erase all playability for any/all paid DLC characters

- Stretch linear fire fights out even further, reducing dialogue and narrative points to the level opening and closing

- Limit ramifications of carry-over decisions from 'Mass Effect' 1 and 2

- Reduce player choice in the narrative to aesthetic character changes and cut/paste level swaps

- Expand customization options in the wrong direction: reducing weapon outfit and armor specifications while offering more armor color options and statistically useless paid DLC weapons.

- Continue showing no females of any species besides human, asari, and the partially hidden krogan seen in the E3 demo

- Adding more Paragon/Renegade "Press Left Trigger for Action" moments

....I'm depressed now.

You play as Blasto, the first Hanar Spectre.
Actually that would be pretty fucking awesome.

Let's see...

Kill off the character the player romances.

Combine the scanning and mako sections (first scan, and then when you find something you have to go down there with the mako trying to find one patch of mineral, in landscapes twice as huge as in the first game) You do this like 15 times on each planet. Also it's mandatory.

Let the player choose if he wants to see Tali's face or not. And then do the opposite of what he chooses (probably only messes with those who don't want to see her face though).

Put in elevators again. But make them longer and completely silent.

And then at the end I would pull the "It was all a dream!" card. Yep the beacon was really just some sort of sophisticated TV, and the reapers was really the villains in som cheesy prothean b-movie. So all it was, was just some ancient prothean flick messing with your head as you sleep in the normandy med bay. So nothing you did throughout three games mattered at all.

Make it so the whole Mass Effect series was really a massive online roleplaying game played by advanced alien beings. The reapers true purpose is to wipe out civilization every 50,000 years so players don't get so bored.

Bonus points if you know what game series actually did something like this.

ninja'd, and Castlevania?

Cut out character customization, so you HAVE to be generic, soldier-class, paragon, bearded Shepard in the default dark Grey-red stripe armor.

This is why I got turned off Mass Effect. The fanbase, in a fucking singleplayer game.
How the shit does that even happen?

Anyways for me it would be if Bioware makes good on their statements to 'appeal to a larger playerbase' and whatnot. SHIT, NO

What does everyone have against the Volus? I think their awesome...and so would boy!Tali! Anyway...It would be wierd if Blue Oyster Cult leant a few songs to the-Damn it, that would be awesome. I guess I can't think of a way to ruin it.
I can tell you why i hate the idea of Volus in two words: space jews. It's an incredibly racist... well, race. Every goddamn space opera has to have a race of weak, money-grubbing aliens.
It is however just a theory. But if I see just one Volus comedian I just want everyone to know i called it.

The game I'm referring to is
Star Ocean 3
. No bonus points now because anyone could just cheat and read the spoiler tag! BWAHAHAHA

Actually come to think of it it makes a lot of sense for Mass Effect series. I mean how the ammo actually got less technologically advanced over time from being infinite to limited. That makes no sense whatsoever how the technology went backwards unless people playing the MMORPG complained!

The game designers made a mistake with humans thus the ability for Shepard to have such a huge impact was due to poor game balancing.

The whole Asari aliens looking like hot females and being able to have children with anyone.

The Mass Relays and everything else was made by the original developers to help the stupid aliens within the ME universe progress more rapidly so the players would be less bored.

They pull a nier replicant and turn sheperd into a generic effeminate JRPG stereotype, and it turns out Tali is a hermaphrodite. Yeah, I think that'd about do it...

Other idea's: They pull any kind of deus ex machina at the end.
They don't continue anything from the geth storyline in ME2
They bring back the retarded micromanagement of negligible armour upgrades. (Regen health went from 4/s to 4.5/s OMG!)

I actually liked those, for the moment where words could not possibly express what a simple hug or punch could.

Though they could make stuff even more vague morally. I imagine tough dilemmas á la House Divided or Virmire with attached dark side/light side points. "You opted to have Garrus killed insted of Legion because you really need a computer expert to defeat the Reapers, you've earned Paragon points."

1 - Give the game out for free, but every mission, character and conversation must be purchased with DLC. The DLC cannot be purchased ahead of time and is released in 3 month increments, after everyone is done playing with the 2 minutes of included gameplay.

2 - Every character refuses romance option at the last available choice, right when everyone thinks it is going to happen.

3 - The final mission IS a suicide mission with NO chance of survival, even though it looks like it is possible. Anyone going for 100% completion is automatically recorded and uploaded to Youtube.

4 - Always run out of ammo ONE SHOT EARLY

Oh please. Just releasing the game will be enough to ruin it for a lot of people.
"It's not RPG-ish enough now!"
"It's too RPG-ish, make it like ME2!"

"Waah, I wanted to see Tali's face!"
"WTF Bioware? Tali doesn't look like that! She has tentacles for a mouth!"

Y'know, the usual internet spout of hatred for anything anyone's ever heard of, especially if it has hype.
Everyone on the internet is now my personal ninja... & they say it better than I would have :( *sniff*

Shepard being able to save everyone with no costly sacrifice. Being able to have no one killed in ME2 on the last mission made the tension die fast, and made me feel like what I did was just another mission. Make me sacrifice, make me pick no easy choice.
It's not sacrifice if you intentionally kill the ones you hate.I killed Jacob in ME2. The prick volunteered to die. I do not tolerate idiots who wanna get themselves killed,so I just let him.The second one I killed was Jack. Hate her guts.

I'm not sure, but I seem to remember Star Ocean having something like that. All I can remember is the fourth dimension (or something along those lines) and people there playing in our world like it's a mmo.

Bingo

Also, I think it makes even more sense with Mass Effect then Star Ocean though...

Shepard is killed in the opening seen then magiced back to life, then goes to work for an incompitent terrorist organization, oh wait, thats how ME2 was ruined. that and planet scanning... and the skill "streamlining."
