How can I get my webcomic more exposure?

I am the colourist for the webcomic Work Sucks: So Does the Food Chain [http://www.worksuckscomic.com/], and while the comic has a small niche audience that repeatedly gives us about 500 to a thousand views a week, my boss and I are looking for ways to increase exposure a bit.

I've made a Tvtropes page for it with links back to it, it's on several webcomic listing sites (even made a reasonably high ranking for being relatively new and small), and we both submit links to the comic every week on a few art sites where we also submit work, but despite all this we're still looking to increase readership and possibly increase patreon supporters in the process. It would be a dream for both of us to make the comic our jobs, and anything that would be helpful is appreciated.

Thanks.

Try publicizing this in some subreddits. I no longer know how to work Facebook, but from what I've tried, it seems like you don't have a page for your webcomic. You can always try getting Facebook to advertise it too (for a price) and hope that it will draw in more readers. I'm no expert at this thing, but I think you should definitely give these tips a go.

Are there any other methods as well? We're looking for anything really. A subreddit and facebook page are a good start, thank you.

Cross promotion. Several web comics such as Bear Nuts, UnEarthed, Accursed Dragon, and Banished rely on a service what cross promotes them with side banners flanking the comics.

You can see the service in actions here: http://www.bearnutscomic.com/2014/12/01/450-bear-nuts/
