I'm a white guy from the American South. Let's see:
I'm not racist.
I hate Nascar.
Cheap beer is completely unappealing to me. I'd much rather have some good imports from Germany or Belgium.
I'm a registered Democrat, and I'm actually closer to the Green and Socialist parties than I am to either of the major two.
I don't speak with a Southern accent. Instead, I have an Upper Midwest/Canadian accent with a little New England thrown in.
I don't own any guns nor am I gun crazy.
I rarely eat any traditionally Southern foods.
I hate Cracker Barrel.
I'm hardly a "Fighting Fundie".
I'm very intelligent.
Finally, I'm hardly a nationalist.

I'd just like to thank you for saving me a decent bit of typing. The only differences are, I'm not registered as a Democrat, I'm independent. I also love my traditionally southern foods. Fried chicken and mashed potatoes are a food group unto themselves.

Canadian:
pros - I'm really nice, I adore maple syrup (I've literally had a glass of it by itself), And I say "eh?" sometimes.
cons - I don't like winter at all, and I'm not that big a hockey fan.
Verdict: I kinda fit the stareotype, but not that much.

Nerd:
pros - Still live with my parents, spend most of my free time in my room, I'm always hooked up to technology, I'm not physically strong at all, I know how to program, and I have at least a passing interest in anime.
cons - Have a girlfriend, don't live in the basement, not fat, don't eat doritos (popcorn is much better), I'm not pathetic and whiny, and I'm not a programming GOD.
Verdict: I kinda fit it, yeah, but not many of the really bad parts of the stereotype.

I'm probably the geekiest, nerdiest guy you will ever meet. I'm short, white, wear glasses, play way too many video games, study computing at university which means I program and whatnot and I have a love for Anime and Japan in general so I'm pretty much an Otaku too.

I also don't go out to nightclubs or pubs (which in the UK for a Uni student is practically unheard of), drink, smoke or take drugs.

So yeah I'm pretty damn nerdy/geeky but ya know what, I'm perfectly okay with that.

I'm Irish.
I'm a decent drinker.
I'm a geologist.
I love metal. Can never grow the hair long enough to fit the stereotype though.
Bearded.
I wear glasses.
I play plenty of video games.
I'm tall, and also fairly well built.

I don't know which stereotype I'm supposed to fit, but I'm either doing a poor job of it, or I'm falling into a bunch of different ones at once.

I am a japanese female 5 ft tall, anime-ish voice, loves anime and manga, reads 2ch and listens to idol.
But it seems my personality is often referred to as being the anti-thesis of a real regular japanese girl.

Well, there's just about a stereotype for anything, or at least that's my experience. Which means you'll end up falling into one or more to some degree. That said, let's try some generic ones.

Geek/'neckbeard':
+ I play vidya games (Someone on the Escapist playing video games? Stop the presses!), though really not excessively, and I can easily go months on end without touching a game.
- I don't read comics
? I don't into watching sports on the telly, but I think they can be kind of fun to participate in
+ I fucking love science
- I'm not short or scrawny, nor morbidly obese
- I shave on a regular basis
+ I've had acne (because your interests and personality determine if you get acne or not. Right.)
- I don't wear glasses
+ I have been asked to adjust my vocabulary down so the people I were speaking with could understand what I said
- I'm not introverted or bitter

Scandinavian:
+ I'm tall
+ I enjoy quality beer
+ Long blonde hair
+ Blue eyes
- I've made every effort to cull my accent, and it's paid off in that I don't sound like the Swedish chef when I speak
- My beard never seems to grow out past a few cm
- I'm not loaded, in fact, I'm kinda strapped for cash
- I absolutely loathe snow, ice and cold weather in general
- I can't into ski, snowboard or other winter sports

I drink rarely enough but when I do I get proper drunk. I don't fight or act the horse's arse though.

I'm pretty pale alright , but I don't eat loads of potatoes and I hate Guinness :)

As gay man, I realise I definitely fill all of the stereotypes.

But seriously, not really. I'm promiscuous and I like good clothes, but that's about it.

I'm a pale nerd who wears glasses and still lives at home with my folks.

...That's kinda stereotypical, right? If so, then I'm not doing so hot...

I suppose I'm a fairly ginger (a darker shade than the stereotype though) Scottish guy who likes to drink now and then. Aside from that, I skirt the edges of many stereotypes. I occasionally wear skateboarding clothes (the shoes mainly but sometimes hooded tops and baggy jeans), I wear almost upper-class chav gear (polo shirts, track jackets etc) when heading to a club and talk about game related issues a bit.

So I don't really adhere to any stereotype.

I'm British. I have a cup of tea in my hand as we speak. I arrogantly treat the Britsh spelling/pronunciation as the 'right one'. I avoid eye contact on public transport and apologise if my shadow bumps into someone.

I even have wonky (though perfectly healthy) teeth.

So obviously I think the stereotype is offensive and completely off the mark.
Oh god are you me?

I line up with the national stereotype pretty well, but I also overlap with a couple of others.

Geek: slightly overweight, can be socially awkward, enjoy science and sci-fi
Skater: fondness for baggy jeans, punk and occasionally greasy hair
Metalhead: Long hair, leather jackets, band patches and unfair abuse of the word dude.

"Americans are all fat, stupid, lazy, jingoist, Christian, gun-loving, racist, materialist, arrogant, gullible, pop culture slaves."

-I must admit to being overweight.
-And lazy.
-Stupid, not so much. I look both ways before crossing the street, do math in my head, read classic literature (sadly, the fact that I read at all makes me unusual here), and so forth.
-Jingoists can eat a dick. Sometimes military action is necessary, but it is never -- that's never, as in under no circumstances -- a good thing. Violence is supposed to come after all chance of peaceful resolution is gone, not be the knee-jerk response to every situation. We have some pretty big problems here at home. We could be solving them. I guess it's easier for these fools to point their fingers at the other side of the globe and cry, "Eeeeeeevil!"
-Belief in a supreme being? No thank you. As George Carlin said, "I could pray to the Empire State Building and it will have about the same effect."
-I don't own any guns. Haven't fired one in years. My father has a handful, we used to shoot targets once or twice a year but haven't gone in a long time. I'm comfortable with weapons, not in love with them.
-I don't consider myself a racist. I occasionally do a double-take when I see a black person, but that's because I'm in a 98-99% pasty-white community. It's the illegal part of illegal immigrant that bothers me.
-Not materialistic. Others can have their fancy cars, 100-inch TVs, swank homes, and brag about how well they're doing. If you read between the lines, many of these people are stretched to the financial breaking point, in debt to their eyeballs to maintain the illusion that they're doing better than others. To me, anyone who owns a Hummer is wearing a badge that says he's impractical, tasteless, has too much money, and is damn proud of it. Personally, I derive great satisfaction and security in the reality of living debt-free. My home is far from the nicest, but it is mine, lock stock and barrel.
-The first thing an arrogant person would say is "I'm not arrogant." So, you decide.
-Gullibility: See Christian. This also applies to ghosts, UFOs, ESP, werewolves, and all that other crap. I do know (not believe, know) that the universe has not yet delivered all its secrets to us, and may never. I see how people are taken in by cold reading, horoscopes, and so forth. They are designed to be convincing, to offer just enough to draw the subject in. Stories about UFOs play into natural fears of helplessness and the unknown. I get it but I don't buy it. I will accept the validity of that stuff when science proves it.
-As for pop culture, I can't think of a way I could care less.
-I also drink only one cup of coffee a month. Coffee is an obsession in this country. In my town I don't think it's possible to be more than 200 yards from a coffee purveyor.

Regional
What *do* they say about New Englanders? I don't actually know. Folks from away tell me I have a bit of an accent, dropping final R's and occasionally using the word "wicked" to mean "very." I enjoy fish chowder.....?

Hot guy stereotype? (I'm so smooth)
Well there's the generic northern stereotype of being generally tougher, more down to earth and more working class than southerners. Basically, imagine the Glasgow stereotype and the southerner stereotype, then draw a line from Oxford to Glasgow. The further up that line you are is how much you weight each of those stereotypes before adding them together, and voila, an equation to generate the stereotype for your part of the UK.

It doesn't apply to Wales, NI or London itself.

I'm filipino. I tend to point at things using my lips or chin. I always save plastic bags for trash or whatnot but I normally have more bags than trash anyway. I tan well and love tropical weather. I tend to enjoy foods that are either salted or vinegar-ed . I'm more well-endowed than the stereotypical mainland Asian.

Yeah I fit a few of the stereotypes but not enough visible ones to set off the stereotyper in other people.
Do you eat inhuman amounts of rice, have a strange sense of humour, run some sort of store or service, and only hang out with other Filipinos?
I'll always eat rice if I can get it, but I wont go out of my way to find it. Basically, if its a menu option, I will usually go with rice unless I'm really craving something else.

I do have an odd sense of humor; for example, I enjoyed watching Super Mario Bros. The Movie because it was so bad that it became a little good. I'm also the kind of person who will laugh at dead baby jokes, but they have to be outrageous ridiculous.

I've never run a store but I did work in Taiwan for a while. It was definitely a service but it was a government job.

I don't really have any Filipino friends. I mostly hang out with white people and assorted other asians. I used to hang out with a few black people and one Puerto Rican dude when I was living in Richmond.

I fit every physical characteristic of a goth:
I'm pale with long black hair.
I wear lots of black.
I wear white and black makeup.
I used to sleep in a coffin(was curious and it was a gift. In truth it was a little overrated. not good for more than one person/sex).
I'm a little photosensitive.
I work at a goth store.
I also have worked on various tv shows and movies where they wanted a goth/vampire on set(featured extra work).
Prefer darkwave/industrial bands.
Has a dark outlook on things, especially myself(dreams about the terror filled agony that will be my demise and the hell that comes after).
Has a gf that is a mortician.

Though unlike most goths:
I find the vampire association rather boring.
I do not typically enjoy poetry.
I have no artistic talent.
I dislike anything that's cheesy or halloween looking(prefer classy things).
I acknowledge that i'm goth, but i don't go out of my way to be one. It just comes naturally to me. I define it, it doesn't define me.
Not into anything BDSM related(find its encroachment into my clubs annoying).
Find attempts at shock value boring/banal.
Doesn't see being a goth as an attempt at grown up make believe(i.e. thinks i'm a vampire or that they exist).

My grandmother was full blooded japanese.

I am really good at video games and apparently I can program them to (I make fan games on the side). I also find japanese animation to be very creative, colorful and otherwise enjoyable.

That's about where it stops though. Hell, I can't even stand the taste of fish. I am not a 'fish' person. Also, I find all the little girls in anime creepy, it doesn't matter if they are sexualized or not. I just don't like them.
