How comes people never talk about PC exclusives?

Lots of people talk about PC exclusives, they just don't really talk about said exclusivity. It's not as big a deal as it is with consoles where exclusives are the only real selling point they have over each other.

Plus, there's no-one to hype them up. There's no platform holder on PC who needs exclusives to sell PCs.

On top of that, it's become very rare for the big publishers to release games exclusively on the PC. The last 'AAA' title that wasn't a strategy game that was exclusive to the PC was probably Crysis. Ubisoft have announced Might & Magic X as a PC-exclusive, though. It's not really an AAA game, but it's not a strategy game and still way above the production values of your average indie title.

PC not only has exclusive games, it almost has exclusive genres. As has been mentioned this has a lot to do with control schemes.
Ah yes, no one wants to play a strategy game with a controller. Also, most MMORPGs are PC exclusive. But most MMORPGS also kinda suck. So we got a small niche market with good games and an overload of crappy half finished MMORPGs. That's it for PC exclusivity.

Well, in the end console exclusives need to sell consoles, while PC exclusives don't need to sell PCs. As such I think console exclusives always get highlighted more. We won't see games like The Last of Us go PC exclusive. I was kinda surprised that Diablo III got a console release. Otherwise Diablo III would have been the biggest PC exclusive ever (excluding MMORPGs and strategy games).
