My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. (Hey, someone was gonna bring it up eventually!)

On one hand, I could well imagine an open collectothon type of game that involves playing as the entire Mane 6 one at a time, all in a similar manor to Donkey Kong 64.

And this may not make much sense, but I could also see something like Conker's Bad Fur Day mixed with Assassins Creed (it has a "friendship system", after all). It doesn't make much sense in simple words, but... it could work!

Plus, I don't think combat would be an issue.

On the other hand, I was also rather surprised that the film 9 didn't get a videogame adaptation.
I can imagine something like Ratchet & Clank infused with Fallout in some way.

Bleeeh, I hate cross-over games ~_~ They do it for every major movie ...some half-behinded game to milk people for more money ~_~

It seems a lot of the best games are just pure original stuff ....and THEN those spin off into comics and movies to extend the IP (like zelda).

Always thought the old "Samurai Jack" cartoon was practically screaming to be made into an action RPG.

It has all the basic elements; Hero's Journey plot, quasi-mute but bad-ass protagonist, a main "Savior-of-the-Universe" quest and with a side quest in each episode and plenty of interesting baddies to fight.

Maybe it's not too late.

Kickstarter, here I come!

Reservoir dogs?
The movie is awesome but almost only discussion, so a 20hour game with only mulitiple choice answers and one quicktime event at the end?
I've never played it, but there is one on the PS2.

Already done. In fact, [a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Little_Pony:_Fighting_Is_Magic"]it has a Wikipedia page![/a]

I honestly couldn't think of something that is completely ungameable. So instead I want to see a game adaptation of The Twilight Zone. I'd be interesting to see if they can maintain the same feel and what type of gamer it would be.

I challenge the gaming studios with..... Inception! Although I'm not really sure how it would work out.. Maybe a bit like Heavy Rain? I don't know, it just popped in my head.

it would lend itself to something like the walking dead with each episode a different story as such. now i want it
For some reason all i can think of now is a point and click adventure game with this line: Press X to discover you're Hitler.

The new Dredd movie. IDK why but it just sounds AWESOME whenever I think about it. Even the concept is cool: having to fight up a 100+ story building with only limited ammo and an almost endless supply of enemies. using stealth would be a must and... OH I CAN'T TAKE IT! I WANT IT NOW!!!

yeah. Dredd. That would be good.

Superman.

And yeah, there are probably games that exist for him, but I'm talking about a Superman game that takes into account the fact that Superman can't die without Kryptonite being used [Pretty much anyway], accepts this, and is a good, enjoyable and challenging game without giving everyone you fight Kryptonite weapons, or inserting some sort of 'Ego' system so that whilst you can't die, you can get disgraced if you get hit too much or something, and lose anyway.

Really, I've got no idea. Combat would just be time filler, as you could never lose unless VSing one of the enemies significant enough to have Kryptonite, and other than that the game would likely have to turn into a bunch of time trials and escort quests - neither of which I would consider enjoyable. Otherwise you could just ignore the whole "Superman is invulnerable" thing, but that's cheating, and IMO lame.

Making a really cool dark and action Power Rangers game. Choose from your favorite Ranger from any team and assemble the ultimate 5-Ranger team, each with their own strengths and Powers. And don't forget to keep the awesome theme songs. Oh and EPIC ZORD ON ZORD ONLINE MULTIPLAYER BATTLES.

Hey it COULD work.
Hmm. I could see it working if they did multiple story lines for each ranger that intersected together at various points, & at the end. With Megazord fights somewhere in between. Perhaps some kind of magic that separates them all into far away places? I really did enjoy the Power Rangers Game for SNES though. :)

Your idea does sound fun though. How many generations would the game include?
Sounds cool.

Everything up to TimeForce I think. It went a bit downhill after that imo.
Hey, Wildforce was awesome and so was Dino Thunder!

OT: A Game based on Beast Wars would be awesome, i know there was the PS1 game but lets face it it was awful. Think about it, an Open world game playing either the Predacons or the Maximals, scouring the world trying to find Escape pods. Finding these pods unlocks new characters for singleplayer/Chassis parts for multiplayer. Each Character has his/her own unique missions (Rattrap having some stealthy missions, Cheetor having missions that relies on speed, Terrorsaur having missions to do with flight etc). also, during the game, at any time you can scan your local area, unlocking new Animals for multiplayer. And obviously there would be more of a story other than just finding Escape Pods.

In Multiplayer, you have a HUGE pool of animals/Chassis parts, having 4 classes, Scout, Wingman, Leader and Titan, each class is a different height so is limited to a number of Animals, select a class, Change some Chassis parts to improve the look, then select and Animal, Now, on your character there are little red dots, The Animal splits into parts, (Head legs, tail, wings, and the body splits depending on the size). You can then place these Animal parts onto the red dots on the robot shell, and no matter where you place the head, or legs, the transformation works, however obviously if you have an Animal leg on one arm/leg of the robot, another leg has to go on the opposite side.

Hey, it could work!

I'm pretty sure that it would be almost impossible to make a decent game based on the movie Primer.

The Expendables, because the story is far too complex to be entertaining.
Have you seen the Expendables 2 video game....

It seems the story didn't make it into the game. Neither did good gameplay .... or anything that makes sense.

A Wheel of Time RTS. It would be bloody hard to balance.
You sir deserve to be hailed as a king for suggesting such a great idea but sadly I would never trust any company to faithfully recreate Robert Jordans detailed world. Now let us weep manly tears over such a tragedy.

A proper Green Lantern game would be hard.

I mean, if the ring can conjure anything we think of, I want to be able to think of anything!

Just saying. A video game based on Future Diary would be hilariously violent and puzzling. Either that or Elfen Leid.

If they made an Elfen Leid game that controlled like the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games, it would be game of the year, and Suda51 would have to commit seppuku for not making it.
