drugs and alcohol don't work as well as you might think. So find an escape that won't melt your mind. Video-games and reading work pretty well for me. I've also found that focusing on my favorite subject in school (English) makes the day much easier to get through. I quit my job.It was a huge source of stress for me and it consumed like half of my free time. What helped me a lot was obsessively structuring my free time and work time with lists. It's really gratifying to cross something off a list. try it.
My advice for you is that you find something to escape the bs. Then maybe find other people that use that same escape and try to make friends with them. Maybe quit your job. You have plenty of time to work after you get out of high school and (hopefully) college. Now is your chance to focus on your personal well-being and studies.
good luck. If all else fails, just remember that there's so much awesomeness out there in the world after high school. so, no worries.
