So anyways, I just watched the Zero punctuation of RDR again and I realized: Yahtzee Isn't sitting on anything! I never noticed that there is no couch. I'm sure everyone but me has figured this out but me, and now I feel really thick.
So I got to wondering, have you ever realized something simple which just blew your mind?
I mean things like the fact that Mario hits blocks with his hands or the like.

I had played through twice fighting all the boss units with just a machine gun chipping away at them till my finger slipped once during my 3rd playthrough. I facepalmed

Found out that Oblivion had fast-travel about 3-4 hours into the game... >_< I accidentally closed the tutorial message about it immediately after it appeared, only catching the word "travel" and thinking nothing of it until I found the feature later...

Same thing happend to me >_< It took me 3 hours to realise that you can change weapons with the mouse wheel. I was using the 1-4 keys.

So many games... Half Life 2 had a couple: Oh, you balance the handy bricks on the plank to make a convenient walkway.

Or Pokemon Ruby; to get to the next city, there is a bike road. To get on the bike road, you must go to the next city. There is no obvious way to go under the big cycle road. However, there is a section of path that goes underneath the cycleway. I must have missed it twenty or thirty times.

That happened to me too... I was really amazed and felt really stupid
Anyway moments like these happen to me way too much and thefore I lose count and don't remember them all...

In the game Legend of Legends there's a button you can press to be teleported back to your base, I didn't notice it and walked back and forth for about 5 games before someone told me. Felt real stupid.

Having spent at least 200 hours playing that game... I still didn't know that. At least I'd still use the number keys anyway.

I definitely knew that. That situation occurs fairly often. A rock type that isn't part ground doesn't all that often.

I thought it was because the only Ghost Pokemon was Ganger, who was part Poison, and Physcic is super effective against poison.

OT: It took me a while to discover that crouching makes shots more accurate.

We've all been there. I've made the mistake of buying mana items for heros that don't use mana. I facepalmed myself.
