I was linked to the Zero Punctuation review of Minecraft from a user on another site. Since I was intrigued by the strange qualities of this rambling Brit (Aussie?), I checked in to see ZP sporadically for quite some time, during which I saw a link to some of the latest forum posts on the video page. Thus began a few-month long lurking spree, and I finally made an account about one year after I discovered the site.

A friend brought me to Yahtzee's vids. Then I just watched those for a while, until I thought the forums interesting enough to join.

A friend was telling me about The Escapist and so after a while I decided to sign up. Plus I made a new friend from a friend who introduced me and I wanted to keep on contact with.

I was brought here by Zero Punctuation as most people on here were.

One wonders what this site must have been like pre-Yahtzee.

A friend of mine uploaded a video on youtube, talking about Yahtzee's halo 3 review. I didn't agree with him about the game but I enjoyed the video style enough to come check out some more, and it just went from there.

As many have already said, a friend showed me ZP. I liked what I saw, and stayed. However, I only lurked for a week or so, then made an account and dived into the forums. Never regretted it for a moment.

My friend showed me Zero Punctuation of Pokemon black. I didn't look at the forums for a while and when I did Mass Effect Three had come out so as you can imagine threads entitled "DIE BIOWARE DIE" didn't encourage me to join the forum but eventually the urge overcame me so I did (not very long ago to be honest)

I came over with the Turbine masses in 2009 for March Mayhem.

I was one of the few who stayed.

Like just about everyone - through ZP. Someone linked a review on the Mass Effect forums over at Bioware, I stuck around to watch them, and eventually signed up.

I for one was not actually introduced to The Escapist from ZP, I was actually introduced by my friend who suggested me this website when I was in need of some more reliable Gaming news. That's the way I firstly got introduced to the Escapist, and I've been using it ever since. I wasn't actually looking at any ZP videos at all the first 2 weeks I was on here to be honest.

I think a zero punctuation video led me here, I've been lurking this site for at least 3 years and only recently made an account.

Someone I used to work with introduced me to zero punctuation, used to laugh about the latest episode while I pretended to actually be doing something productive.

I think it's high time we instated Yahtzee as official king of the escapist? It's long overdue.

I was looking up pornography and somehow this was related. I was mislead, apparently.

A video game humor site featured Yahzee's Minecraft review and so I watched and then about a month pater I was bored so I decided to try and find more of his videos so one quick google search later I found the escapist, his most recent review was Kirby's Epic Yarn I believe so is arched that and then went back through the archives watching every feed dump, the big picture, extra credits, escape to the movies, and zero punctuation. Then I finally decided to make an account one bored summer's night in July.

I am actually Yahtzee's bastard child who was conceived in the VIP room of a BDSM club with a transgender amputee named Petunia.
